TV Meme stolen from [livejournal.com profile] dryope:

My "Everybody Loves It And I Do Too" Show: Lost. I'm pretty sure everybody loves it, since it's the #1 most common fandom om my friends list. And, obviously, I love it a lot.

My "I'll Catch It on DVD" Shows: Let's say Firefly, since I did catch it on DVD and never got to see the series. I don't buy the DVDs of shows I don't watch. Well, I was going to buy Veronica Mars, but now it's going to be on TV anyway, so YAY!

My "I LOVE IT AND YOU SHOULD TOO" Show: Definitely Firefly, I think everybody should see this brilliant and badly treated show. Fox are idiots.

My "I Love, But Keep Missing, Dammit" Show: I NEVER got to see an episode of Dr. Who. I don't know which idiot at ABC decided to air it on a Saturday night, but I never got to watch it, which makes me sad.

My Guilty Pleasure Show: I'm going to go with either Australian Idol or Numb3rs. Numb3rs is worse, because nobody else in my family likes it. In fact, very few people I know like it. And it's not particularly well-written and horrendously nationalistic but I really, really like Charlie.

A lot.

My "Comfort Food" Show: Probably Red Dwarf - it *always* makes me laugh.

My "I'll Never Abandon You, EVER" Show: Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I know I don't talk about it as much and I love Firefly more now but Buffy was my show growing up and I'll never stop loving it.

I found myself agreeing a lot! Except for the Guilty Pleasure (never got into any of the "Idols") and Comfort Food (we don't get Red Dwarf here). Let's see... Guilty Pleasure and Comfort Food - probably should combine them and say "South Park" (so evil and crude but SO brilliant!) and... any of those homicide shows (why is it so comforting and easy to watch somebody investigate a murder? I have no idea, but I can almost always be sure it's better than 99% of what else it out there!)

And I'd have to add "House" to the "Everybody Loves It and I Do Too" list. *G*

EVERYBODY's been saying House. I like House, but I don't *love* it.

OMG, I'm so totally loving you icon it's making me ho SQUEE!

And yessum, I fully agree with Buffy. My sister and I have just been re-watching season 2 which we hadn't watched in ages. We onyl own season 1 one DVD and 4 and 5 on VHS, so I intend to buy the Complete Collections with all seven seasons and *gasp* 39 discs! There was a competition to win it in our local Sunday paper, so keep your fingers crossed for me, cos I've never won anything except a really shit dance CD, and would love to save $300.
Angel and Buffy are totally my Romeo and Juliet. I was very upset Joss Whedon didn't make Angel human again at the end of season 5 so he and Buffy could finally be together. Or maybe he did? I never saw any of Angel except for season 1... (shh, don't tell me, I'll rent them all!).

*pst* Will you judge me if I told you I still cry every time I watch Buffy kill Angel?

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

LOL I wouldn't judge you but I never liked either Buffy or Angel as characters, so the pairing never did anything for me. I liked Buffy/Spike better. I just found Angel's brooding and Buffy's self-righteous bossing really irritating.

I have to agree with Firefly. Why didn't more people see Serenity??? I'm STILL outraged about that. Well apparently Firefly DVDs were no 1 at JB-HiFi for a while there. Yay for Channel Ten FINALLY showing Veronica Mars! I hope they don't suddenly pull it like One Tree Hill last summer or something. I'll always love Buffy too, it was my first love. In fact I should probably drag out my Buffy DVDs, I haven't watched them in quite a while.
