I am SUCH a nerd.

I was watching David & Margaret and they reviewed Brothers Grimm and Everything Is Illuminated which geeked me out enough as it was (OMG Terry Gilliam & Elijah!) but then they announced some specials they're doing in the holidays. Firstly there's a whole Peter Jackson special which just caused major spasms, and then the VERY NEXT FILM CLIP they showed was from Brokeback Mountain!!! I squeed a LOT.

Melissa, wanna see Brothers Grimm next Tuesday?

I saw Ferris Bueller's Day Off for the first time today. I loved it, of course, because it's John Hughes and 80's and there's random Charlie Sheen and, well, you know, everything. I nearly cried for Cameron, I knew so many kids like him in high school.

Elijah visited the set of King Kong. Aww!

I want the Ringers DVD for Christmas. I think I will make it the Only Item on my official family Christmas wishlist. Because I am a huge dork.

There are a couple of tutorials coming. You can still request a tutorial here.

Dom and another...guest...on Jimmy Kimmel some time this year. In Billy's T-Shirt. XD

Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in awhile, you could miss it.

Words of advice---don't see Brothers Grimm.

It's horrendous. Seriously, a terrible film.

I can't believe you just saw Ferris Bueller for the first time! Wow. I adore that movie. And even after seeing it a million times, it continues to be funny. The TV show based on it, however, was not.

When Cameron was in Egyptland...Let. My. Cameron. Gooooo. ♥

LMAO that part was fantastic.

I found the Cameron stuff pretty heavy-going, esp. the car-destroying scene. Not in a bad way.

Hope you get something out of the tutes!

I just got a little teary...how sweet of Elijah!

You just saw Ferris for the first time? Fantastic, it's brilliant isn't it?

I loved it! I pretty much knew what happened since it's been parodied, referenced and mimicked a million times, but it was still awesome :)

The Cameron stuff was heavy-going though.

I got Ringers from Target yesterday. I think it was $17.95?

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

I doubt they'd have it at Target in Canberra. Maybe in Sydney...

I have generously decided to see it with you. It has nothing to do with the fact that Matt Damon is hot with a British accent, or the fact that I love Terry Gilliam.

I'll check movie times.

I want the Ringers DVD for Christmas.

I bought that on Thursday after my exam. I made the guy dig through boxes for it. I haven't had a chance to watch it yet but it looks shiny. Also it has Dom on the front.
