Christmas songs!

I'm getting into the Christmas spirit so I want everybody to send me their favourite Christmas songs!

I don't care if it's religious, non-religious, pro-Christmas, anti-Christmas, The Dreidl Song, as long as you like it. I'm going to put together a Christmas music spam soon and I want lots of songs to play! I'll choose my favourites and pass them along :) I've already downloaded some good ones - Sleigh Ride by Ella Fitzgerald and The Carol of the Bells by The Calling are fantastic.

Also, I'm on temporary hiatus from my flist. Sorry, guys, but it's giving me headaches I don't need (literally, not figuratively. Let me know if anything exciting happens to you.

Gosh, right now my favorite "new" Christmas song is "All I Want For Christmas", covered by MCR.

Anything by Johnny Mathis gives me warm fuzzies. I don't know if it's because I grew up with my mother playing his Christmas album as we decorated the tree or if I just love his voice. Most likely it's a combination of both.

"It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas" This is not the older version, which is my favorite, but it's the only one I could put my hands on.

I'm such a dodo. That second song is actually "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year". That's the song I meant to post, I just gave you the wrong title in my Johhny Mathis enthusiasm.

Oh, and I don't know if you have Acromatica friended, but she seems to be on a bit of an MCR kick right now and is asking for links to music and pictures. I love it when the MCR takes people over.

I had loads of Christmas songs downloaded last year, and I deleted them all at some point over. (Well, and then my hard drive crashed, so they would have been lost anyway).

If you can find it, Jimmy Eat World's version of 'Last Christmas' is great.

My favorite Christmas album has to be John Denver and the Muppets A Christmas Together, and I used to have most of the songs downloaded, but my hard drive crashed a few months ago and I lost them all :( But if you can find The Peace Carol, When The River Meets The Sea, Little Saint Nick, or the Alfie the Christmas Tree Medley, I highly recommend them...especially Alfie. He always makes me a bit teary eyed.
