ETA: chaodai has written a most interesting opinion piece on the narrative in the film version of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. As corellianjedi so eloquently put it:
He's never read the books and he points out the flaws in the movie that all Potterholics were screaming about. Only this time he's "WTF is going on?" instead of our "WTF they cut that?!"
