I have downloaded all the squishy Brokeback Mountain clips and am just playing them in a loop.

What? I'm a fangirl. This is what we do. I honestly think Brokeback deserves every accolade and every award it gets - it's beautifully shot, artfully directed, wonderfully scored, the acting is pitch-perfect. There's no area I can think of in which it doesn't match up. I don't just want it to win Best Picture because I am a fangirl, I think it probably deserves it.
Of course now I just have to see Good Night & Good Luck, Munich...what else will be nominated? Walk the Line maybe. I don't think Capote will be nommed for best film, just best performance. Any other heavyweights I've missed?

That's what us good fangirls do, it's a given. :D I truly, truly believe thie movie deserves an Oscar (and I'm positive it's gonna get one, only not sure it's gonna be Best Picture). But really, if Hollywood decided to give an Oscar to a gay-centric movie... I'd be the happiest I've ever been about anything fandom related EVER!
