Days should definitely not be 17 hours long.
But today was fun, so I'm not complaining. First I had my Filming Cultures lecture, then we watched a doco called "Chronicle of a Summer", which I really liked. Then lunch, then the tute for that, and then we did digital imaging early so we watched Moulin Rouge in Film Studies instead of Dead Man. It's not the best film ever, but it's still cool. The Duke is so funny, "Like a Virgin" still gets me in stitches, and I can still sing all of the love medley. The lecture beforehand was on digital technology but since she largely used examples from Lord of the Rings and I've seen the special features on the DVD at least a hundred times, I coasted through that. Did some fanfic writing today but it's all rather crap. Then I met up with Gwyn and her mate Serena and we went to Gwyn's birthday dinner, which was really fun. Anna, Chris, T&N, Phoebe, Serena, and Gwyn. I had lots of champagne and was tipsy (not really drunk), and we had nice dinner and played Cluedo, which Team Plum won, dammit. Tom sat on me and I pulled a muscle in my leg. But it's all good because he very kindly drove me home, and also coz it was largely my fault in the first place, though Gwyn should know better than to diss HP. Gwyn had a good time, which is always the most important thing innit? She kinda adopted Phoebe's family. I also bumped into Nutty today. Yay.
I organised a slightly impromptu Buffy finale party for next week. I can't believe that's next week! *sobs* We watched tonight's ep at Phoebe's, and that was cool. End of Days is memorable for one scene: WHEELCHAIR FIGHT!!! hee.
