Aww, Dom & Billy sighting!
ETA: Television Without Pity Awards winners:
Part 1
Yay lots of Veronica Mars, but Lost should've won Best Finale and Supernatural's 'Carry On My Wayward Son' Salvation montage should've won Best Credit Sequence.
Part 2
Gee, shock, at the Most Unwelcome New Character. I like her, anyway. WTF JACK BAUER NOT WINNING BEST BADASS. LOL WORST AND BEST CHEMISTRY. So true. Yay Least Favourite Actress and Least Favourite Character (I was right!), boo no Lost as Best Cast.
Part 3
HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL!! Smallville and House for Most HoYay, SO TRUE. I've got to get into Battlestar Galactica, it was on tonight but I was watching the movie and I want to watch from the start.
Reply and I'll give you a letter and you have to find five songs that start with that letter and post them to your journal.
_allshallfade gave me N.
1. Never Take the Place of Your Man - Kane
2. New York, New York - Frank Sinatra
3. Nights in White Satin - The Moody Blues
4. Nobody's Wife - Anouk
5. Norwegian Wood - The Beatles
My favourites. You're all lazy bastards, by the way.
Movie: Lord of the Rings
Okay, I can understand the guesses of Singin' in the Rain. It's definitely right up there. Really, though, once I saw Lord of the Rings I was ruined for anything else, ever.
Top five:
Lord of the Rings
Singin' in the Rain
The Goonies
Some Like It Hot
Brokeback Mountain
TV show: Firefly
I probably should have specified that it doesn't have to be on anymore. Not meaning to diminish my love for Lost, but honestly, my favourite HAD to be a Joss show.
Top five:
Firefly
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Lost
Red Dwarf
Veronica Mars (managed to beat Sliders by virtue of two consistently good seasons, instead of one really brilliant one)
Fictional character: Sirius Black
I'm in love with Sirius Black. It doesn't matter that he's dead, and fictional. I'm in love with him.
Top five:
Sirius Black
Samwise Gamgee
Malcolm Reynolds
Indiana Jones
Brian Kinney
'Ship: Crowley/Aziraphale
Ha, got ALL of you. Come on, dude, it's ineffable. And, like all my favourite ships, practically canon. How can you get any better than a slightly decent demon and a slightly nasty angel?
Top five:
Crowley/Aziraphale
Sam/Frodo
Remus/Sirius
Dom/Billy
McKay/Sheppard
Actor: Dominic Monaghan
Um, yeah. This was a tough one, but I think most of you managed somehow. *eyeroll*
Top five:
Dominic Monaghan
Katharine Hepburn
Jake Gyllenhaal
Johnny Depp
Crazy Gary Oldman
Band: The Beatles
Honestly, am I really THAT difficult? Aren't they pretty much everyone's favourite band?
Top five:
The Beatles
Guns n Roses
My Chemical Romance
'NSync
Stereophonics
Song: My Funny Valentine
I've done a couple of posts with my covers of this song. I have 16. It's the song that reminds me of Dom. Plus it's my favourite kind of music, that old jazz/swing style. Although right now, yes, it's Snakes on a Plane (Bring It) by Cobra Starship.
Top Five:
My Funny Valentine - everyone.
The Rainbow Connection - Kermit
Sleep While I Drive - Melissa Etheridge & k.d. lang
The Drugs Don't Work - Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals
The House Rules - Kane
Album: Abbey Road
I understand that this would have been really hard, so fair enough. Actually, right now my favourite is Christina Aguilera's new album. SO GOOD.
Top Five:
Abbey Road (The Beatles)
She's So Unusual (Cyndi Lauper)
Ella: Gold (Ella Fiztgerald, just a compilation)
Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge (My Chemical Romance)
Tragic Kingdom (No Doubt)
Soundtrack: Singin' in the Rain
It may not have made it into the top spot on my movie list, but it's definitely first here.
Top Five:
Singin' in the Rain
The Blues Brothers
Pulp Fiction
Brokeback Mountain
High School Musical (oh, shut up)
Book: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
I'm not that big a reader, so this probably doesn't come as much of a surprise to anyone.
Top Five:
Harry Potter
Good Omens
1001 Movies to See Before You Die
The Hobbit
Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil
Author: J.K. Rowling
I don't have a top five for this one.
Color: Green
Animal: Cat (although my dog, Saffy, will be accepted, because she's my favourite.)
Food: Chocolate
Snack: Tim Tams
Beverage: Pina Colada
Store: JB HiFi (Americans are exempt, you probably haven't heard of it - it's a big old DVD & CD store where you can get things cheap)
Vacation spot: LA!
Green Queen

And for the record, ABBEY ROAD IS MY FAVORITE ALBUM OF ALL TIME.
I found it when I was 12 and literally listened to it 2 times all the way through before I went to bed every night for like 3 years. For me, before I had HP and before I had Lost, I had the Beatles. I used to be called Beatlegirl in high school.
And Abbey Road is my favorite. Not because it's technically the best song wise, but because it's my comfort album. I could bring that anywhere and feel at home. And when I went to London a few years ago I went to Abbey Road and it was like...a religious experience for me hahaha.

Anyways, I LOVED Good Omens. I think one of my favourite parts was the bikers continually changing their names and when everyone was looking for odd occurances that would predict the acopalypse it turned out that having perfectly normal weather was the most odd thing because it's Britain and "when was the last time you remember it snowing on Christmas?" HAHAHA
I like all of your choices. I think Singing in the Rain is my favourite musical and I could watch "Make 'Em Laugh" forever. *luffs Donald O'Connor*
But Sam/Frodo above Dom/Billy?? Really? *shocked*

Singin' in the Rain is my oldest favourite movie, I've watched it every year since I was three. I LOVE Cosmo, and as I've gotten older I've appreciated more and more things about it.
Fictional characters come above real people simply because in real life they can always prove you wrong. LOL. I also wanted to put 'all the CW boys/all the other CW boys', but I don't know if that counts as a ship.

TEAM JACK BRISTOW FTW. YES. VICTOR GARBER I LOVE YOU &hearst;
.If you watched Alias, you'd understand why he is way more hardcore than Jack Bauer.
:D
Also, TEAM LENA OLIN.
Um, why all the Ana-Lucia hate? I love her -_-.
Also, I failed at your favorites. I tried to be all creative and all, but noooo. Oh well.

You really should watch Battlestar Galactica. You can download it on iTunes, and I'm sure it can be found other places as well for...cheaper *coughfreecough*.
