Harry Potter Friday Five from ack_attack:

1. If you were a student at Hogwarts, which character do you think would be your best friend? Why?
2. What is your favorite Hagrid moment?
3. Which of the Weasley twins' inventions is your favorite? (A list can be found here.)
4. Which would you rather be capable of: Legilimency or Occlumency?
5. We know at the end of Half-Blood Prince that Harry claims he will not return to Hogwarts next year in order to fully devote himself to finding and destroying the remaining Horcruxes. This however doesn't mean that JK Rowling won't somehow have Harry stay at Hogwarts throughout Book 7.

Which would you prefer? Would you like to see Harry return to Hogwarts for his final year, or spend the whole year on his quest to destroy Voldemort?

1. If you were a student at Hogwarts, which character do you think would be your best friend? Why?
I hate these kinds of questions, because I think sometimes you aren't friends based on similar interests or personalities but just out of chemistry. That said, I'd probably befriend Luna, just because I think she's weird and funny, two traits many of my friends possess. I would want to be friends with the Weasleys, too, because I love them.

2. What is your favourite Hagrid moment?
I think it's in Goblet of Fire, when he makes the decision not to let the fact that people hate him because he's half-giant affect him and remembers his father. There's a fierce sense of pride in oneself that it evokes. Wankiest sentence ever.

3. Which of the Weasley twins' inventions is your favourite?
I've got to go with the Skiving Snackboxes. What I wouldn't have given for some of those in high school, man. Although I'm partial to the fireworks, if only because of the trouble they gave Umbridge.

4. Which would you rather be capable of: Legilimency or Occlumency?
Occlumency. I don't want to be able to read other peoples' minds, but I definitely wouldn't want anybody reading my mind. I'm not secretive, but if somebody wants to know something about me they can ask me, not go behind my back to find out.

5. Which would you prefer? Would you like to see Harry return to Hogwarts for his final year, or spend the whole year on his quest to destroy Voldemort?
I'd rather see him at Hogwarts for at least part of the year. I'm sure the final battle is going to be there, and I think it's too much of a deviation for the whole book up until that point to take place in the outside wizarding world.

I think I'd be best friends with the twins... mostly because that's how it was for me in high school. KJHADKSJH I MISS IT SO MUCH ;______;
