Sorry about yesterday, I was being really slack.

I just came into my room and was about to log on when I decided I was too tired to do the journal, so I missed INTERNATIONAL TALK LIKE A PIRATE DAY!!!

Arr, me hearties, ye scurvy dogs of the open seas, yo ho ho and really bad eggs. Savvy?

Well, I didn't miss it obviously, I just didn't update during it. I did, however, get rained on a lot--we were going to have a barbecue but it decided to *storm* in Canberra yesterday so we went to Phoebe's house and had potatoes and watched Kath&Kim and had a solitaire tournament instead. That was fun. Had to babysit Clare last night, we watched Spy Kids 2 and Shanghai Knights. I wonder if the studios will ever learn to leave mediocre films alone--Spy Kids was pretty cool, but Shanghai Knights reminded me so forcefully of Rush Hour that I was in shock for most of it. Surely such a blatant ripoff can hardly be considered a film in its own right?!
Today was far less interesting, as all I have done all day is tutoring (Damiano hadn't done all his work and I was most unimpressed,) and my assignment, and some vacuuming, and watched Sister Act 2, and played The Sims because I'm on another Sims kicker this week. Not good when I have 2 assignments due Monday, though I am making decent headway, so I think I'm alright so far. My assignment on musicals is going fairly well IMHO, probably not enough research but I'm hoping to sort of fumble my way through that. So tired of being tired all the time, it's getting irritating now.

I wish my scanner was working, Tom drew me the cutest picture of Jack Sparrow yesterday and I want to share it (and the Harry Potter pic he made for me) with everybody, coz I love them *so much!*

Craig Parker is right here in Canberra. Right now. And I'm not going to meet him. *sobs*

Pimping again for links of the day House of Usher and It's Not Easy Being Green. Please, PLEASE visit my site! It had 134 visitors in less than a week and has now had about 1 in the last 2 days!!! It's making me quite depressed. It's like putting in a tag board drove people away from the site.

Anyone else find this more than slightly creepy? I mean, would you really want to wear Gollum on your finger? Latest fashion accessory, your very own schizophrenic ex-hobbit with a naasty cough. Yeah.
