Wasn't cancelling Firefly bad enough? Veronica Mars has pretty girls, hot boys, good writing. IT HAS MUHNEY. What more do you want?

Spoilery pics for Supernatural 2x02 here. So Alona Tal is indeed playing Alex, as truffle_shuffle said ages ago. I loved Alona as Meg on Veronica Mars, but her casting is DEFINITELY not helping my image of her as a total Mary Sue. Ellen, too. NOT HAPPY, KRIPKE.
In case you missed them, spoilery pics for 2x01 here. I'm much happier with these. I know that after this episode they say that John's dead, but popular opinion suggests that those last few shots are demon!Daddy and not John. Which means that either Dean is lying to Sam about John being dead, or they're referring to him as dead since he sacrificed himself to the Demon in return for Dean's dead. I'm of the opinion that Dean's lying, because that would be a Dean thing to do. The third option is that it's really John telling Dean what he did and then John dies shortly after those shots. Still, this episode looks fucking fantastic. Look at Sam's little woobie face!

Unfortunately, the way our rating system is set up, it wouldn't matter if every American on LJ watched Veronica Mars. If you aren't a "Nielsen Family" your viewing habits don't count. It's a stupid and out-dated system.

It's supposed to be random. And I think you are only one for a few years. But you get a special box or something that kind of records/notes what you watch. But our rating system is based on what *they* watch (and I tend to think they must all watch crappy reality shows or something), the only way to show other people are watching it too, are write-in campaigns and things like that. Which are only marginally effective.

I keep hoping they'll revamp it now that we've got so much digital tv, and dvrs and tivos and other things like that.

Alona's actually a lot taller than Sarah Michelle Gellar, so it won't look the same in practice. The character is basically Faith without the emotional complexity, though. So much so that Eliza was rumoured to be playing her, I believe.

I gotta be honest with you, I probably did. I don't like it when people tell me what to do with my picspams. I put a lot of effort into them and it just drives me crazy when people say "You forgot so-and-so!" or "why didn't you include this other person?"

Haha yeah, that was one of those things were it was some stupid sarcastic comment I left in passing, and it didn't come off the way it should have. I think I said, "Where is Jake!?" Haha but it wasn't like I was telling you to add him. I know how annoying that is - especially after I did a bunch of Lost picspams at the end of the last season which like a zillion people came and read. Everyone kept asking me "Um, how come you left out ___?" Stupid people.
