ack_attack's or, more accurately, GO SHOW HOW STOKED YOU ARE FOR SEASON THREE!!!!
My puppy had a haircut and now she looks skinny and rat-like and surprised. She smells nice though. I played with her too much and she scratched my hand up something good. Also, I slept for like 10 or 11 hours last night. I was SO tired, but now I'm feeling better and I don't have a cold anymore. Team sleep FTW.
AF:LJKSHDFL:KSFSLKJFH Jamie Bamber/Tahmoh Penikett = HOTTEST THING EVER.
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang icons, because I love that movie an unhealthy amount.
They changed Mary Sue's name from Alex to Jo (WOW WHAT A DIFFERENCE) and confirmed that she's a Mary Sue. Yeah, screw you too, Kripke. *groans* God, that is so bad. I mean, SO bad. There are fanfics out there written by angsty thirteen-year-olds that are better written than that derivitive, out-of-character drivel. WHAT ARE THE WRITERS THINKING?!
Tonight I watched Hedwig and the Angry Inch
I think Michael Pitt is just the hottest thing. He turns me on so hard. There's this one point when he looks like Darren Hayes back in the I Want You video, Jesus.
Oh, right, movie.
The movie's a punk rock musical, essentially, and it plays out as such - all the stuff you need to know's in the songs. The music's pretty much the only way we get to know Hedwig, too, because when she's not performing she's impossible to access. It's really frantic, a lot of scenes are noticably sped up. The supporting characters are flat and boring, except for Tommy Gnosis. The movie's constantly bringing up themes and then dropping them. It has all the markers of a play desperate to be a film, too - excessive use of unnecessary but obviously film-y devices, and a timeline that jumps around too much in the present for the flashbacks to really be effective. It's a pretty good genderfuck story - Hedwig's 'angry inch' is new and John Cameron Mitchell is pretty good in the role - but there are better genderfuck movies out there.
The music, though, is incredible. Which I already knew since I've downloaded most of it, but it really is very good and it tells the story really well. The performances, when they're not overshadowed by fancy but unnecessary effects, are also really impressive. I think the film would've benefitted from less style and more substance, though.
Michael Pitt, I want your babies.
6.5 out of 10.

He has skinny legs. He's so hot.

Leia!Kristen! I cannot WAIT to see this movie.

Dom and Yunjin Kim on the set of Lost.
Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your personal lord and saviour? No, but I love his work.

Maybe his computer broke. Or something. I didn't talk to my boy for 2 1/2 weeks!! He finally just called me the night before last. His phone had died. Ass.

I love Lina a lot more now that I'm older though. I just think she's awesome. LOL.
I still think the Broadway Melody section plays more like a short film than a part of Singin' in the Rain. It's always bothered me. The ballet section of An American in Paris fits much better.
