I was just saying how only Murphy brothers should ever attempt Queen and then Chris goes and does a Freddie Mercury song and proves me absolutely right. I love Chris so much. The girls need to seriously step it up, because Lisa was terrible tonight and the others just aren't as good as the boys. I love Dean and I liked his performance, but I'm waiting for him to really break out of the box. My gods he's fucking pretty, though. Really. Wow.

WOW. I know I was all late in joining the shoebox_project wagon, but I still feel a great sense of pride at them getting a mention on the WSJ! And ladyjaida getting a book published!

I did get a bit miffed at some factual errors the reporter made. BAD!

I always get into things when they're just becoming famous and gathering an audience. Not in the first wave of people, but still early enough that they're not quite phenomenons yet. shoebox_project is no exception to that rule.

I hate inaccurate reporting, it really drives me crazy. It's a pet peeve of mine.

My little Shoebox is all grown up! Dude, that is so awesome. I wasn't one of the early joiners, but I've still been around long enough to feel proud of it.

And do we have any idea who the LOTR/Potter writer is who got the 3-book deal (mentioned in the first long paragraph)? Would love to know!
