Singin' in the Rain soundtrack. If you love me at all, or even just kinda like me, download it! Now.
I didn't need a new Supernatural icon or anything, but this one is the most beautiful thing ever. EVER. Mouth, and blood, and...guh. Made by

ETA: The name meme going around turned up something surprising:
Katie, a 2-syllable girl's name of Greek origin, means: One of purity; beloved.
Katie's ethnic backgrounds include English/Welsh.
I knew about the pure bit (ha, ha) but I didn't know it meant 'beloved.' I've always liked the name David because it means 'beloved.'
Instead of the movies I actually have to watch for class, today I watched:
Cars
I loved it! I do so love Pixar films, they are head and shoulders above the rest - I saw previews for about five other cg-animated films before this one and none of them can even come close to the magic of Pixar. Everything in the films is so beautiful, the characters are great and the stories are simple, predictable, but classic, timeless, and always enjoyable. I love the worlds Pixar creates, all the little word gags, the whole bit.
Spoilery stuff. I LOVED the cow-tractors, man, they are the funniest and most creative things ever. I want to go tractor-tipping. Also, Paul Newman's voice turned me on. When his character suddenly takes off and drives really fast, I had goosebumps. Wow.
I know it's expecting a lot of a kid flick, but they really brushed over the whole issue of highways. At one point one of the cars says that they bypass the towns 'to save ten minutes of driving time.' Okay, so maybe that one town is ten minutes. And the next one is ten minutes. And the next, and the next, and eventually all those ten minutes add up. I have to admit, I like being able to get places faster. I like being able to go up to Sydney for the weekend. Not really a criticism of the movie, just a comment.
7 out of 10.
I made Jen/Jared icons. 10 of them, from the 2005 WB All-Stars event.

Pixar = hilarious puns and imagery, but in a very light-hearted, innocent way. Pixar is the way childhood really should be.
AND OMG SINGIN' IN THE RAIN SOUNDTRACK. THANK YOU. *Unadulterated worship at yon feeties*

I loved Cars, as I've loved all Pixar movies. It's smart and makes a point without bashing you over the head with it, and it's cute and fun and touching. And I agree, the tractors-as-cows was a pure stroke of genius. OMG. I was crying, I was laughing so hard. Did you stay through the credits?
