Kripke answers more questions and spoils the fuck out of his own show. They're doing some fanfic-y things. Check out the first question.

THIS is really hopeful, though: I do want to say to all the fans: Don't worry. We read the boards, we pay attention, and we take your concerns seriously. As I've said before, we gotta keep trying new things, but we're not going to pursue anything on the show that's not working.
Please let that mean they're going to ditch Dean/Jo. PLEASE.

Ask him if Dean & Sam are gonna hug, EVER. Also posted by [livejournal.com profile] anteka is Plastic Winchesters Episode 19.

Go show your support for your favourite CW shows. Supernatural and Veronica Mars, please.

100 sexy men in a minute. Most of my favourites are overlooked, but Naveen and Jake are in there.

You know who's underrated? TAHMOH. Seriously. It says so in that very scientific study. (Few women who watch the show? Sexist fucker.) Also, Jared and Jensen and, of course, as I said yesterday, Nathan. I can't wait to see Lost next week.

I'm amused at how far that character meme I did has spread - I'm fairly sure I started this round, because I found it yesterday when I was looking through my posts from the end of last year and beginning of this year, trying to figure out what I did for New Year's. [livejournal.com profile] crystal_lily got it from someone I don't even know.

WTF.

I think they're more likely to rethink their idea of having Dean and Jo as a couple than drop her as a character. That would be difficult, but the two of them have no chemistry anyway.

Then again, I love the writing on Veronica Mars.

See, I personally think that no changes should be made to a plotline simply because the fans want it. The people in charge should only make those changes if they feel that what's going on isn't working.

And Veronica Mars is still a good show but season two pretty much sucked. It had it's moments but they were few and far between. And I think alot of that had to do with Rob's connection to the fanbase and bending to their every cue.

Creatively, it tends to be a bad move for those in charge to get to close to their fanbase.

I don't know. If it was someone I trusted implicitly, maybe, but the thing is I don't trust Kripke that much, certainly not as much as other people in this fandom. They compare him to Joss and he's NOTHING like Joss. Kripke tends to overlook characterisation in favour of plot, so I think he might just miss facts like that jo is a crappy character.

I LOVE season two. Love, love, love it.

Kripke is no Joss Whedon. Not even close.

Joss is God. All others must pale in comparison. Hehe

And I love Jo, obviously. But I'm definitely in the minority for that.
