Things just keep getting better and better.
My voice is nearly almost all back. I didn't have a very exciting day today--sat around at home, did some uni work (didn't get started on my French oral though!) and watched Scooby Doo and Goonies with commentary. And, of course, Australian Idol, which was so amazing tonight (woohoo go the 80s!!!)
Firstly, Shannon--much as I love Bon Jovi (and I do), his performance was way off tonight. I reckon it's between him and Levi as to who'll be out this week, because that just wasn't good enough.
Next, Paulini, who once again did something different to anything else she's done and completely blew me away. She was absolutely amazing and gorgeous--and she does it all in pants, unlike someone else in the comp who continuously resorts to miniskirts to get votes for some bizarre reason, since she's doing fine anyway. If Paulini doesn't win Idol it'll be a travesty, because she is the best by so far.
Levi was third, and I msut admit he performed well tonight, which may save him by tomorrow night, but he still may go. It was one of his better performances, I still don't like him though.
Cosima fourth, and I hated the way she looked tonight, I really did. She performed fairly well, but she's really ticking me off with the minis and high heels that she can barely even walk in.
Millsy was, in my opinion, very very good tonight. He did his best to branch out and put his all into the performance, not cruising through it like he has lately. The suit and eyeliner didn't hurt either, he looked fantastic. And he actually sang! I didn't know he could do that. He listened to the judges and took their advice to heart, and Dicko seems to be holding a grudge because what he said was unfair.
I LOVE GUY! Okay, that's out of the way. Seriously, he just seems to get better and better since his second performance, and I really want he and Paulini to be the top 2 (though I have a sneaking suspicion it'll be Millsy and Paulini.) His voice is amazing and he can move, and his performances are spot-on. LOVE.
Millsy flirted with James. I'm starting to think James, Andrew G and Millsy are all screwing each other. OT3!!! Bwahaha. Andrew looked properly 80's, which was fantastic.
Link of the Day is the Aussie Idol website, though it's fairly shoddy and rarely updated--ironic considering the competition is run by Telstra.
