Ryan, Chris and Jason at - I kid you not - the Church of Scientology's Christmas Stories XIV event. Isn't Ryan Christian? Go read the comments, man, it's blown up into a real religious debate. And apparently Jason's father is the chairman of Neopets. Whatever, they are the cutest things I have ever seen in my life and I love them.

ETA: More Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix clips. It looks like they are changing it so Sirius talks to Harry before he dies. In fact, not one of the scenes in the Sirius clip is a canon scene. I can't figure out whether to be happy that he's getting lots of screentime or annoyed that they're changing his screentime from the perfectly good scenes in the book. The wandwork bit is really cool.

I heard that Jason's the only Scientologist. I don't like how a lot of people are freaking out over the pictures because they must mean that they're all scientologists and crazy, or something. I don't know. They're all completely adorable.

I'm not overly fond of Scientology. I'm not a religious person but I still think that it's a bullshit and batshit crazy religion. But what I see there is two friends supporting their friend who is a nice guy.

Oh my gosh, you won't believe this.... I use to talk to the Mike guy. We were reeeeally good buddies. I actually was the one who got him into Veronica Mars. Whoops! I mean, not whoops, because he can have his own opinion. But to think he's in this big argument over there now, lol. I think taking it out on Jason is a little harsh, but overall, and believe me when I say this - no one will change his opinion on the matter.
He use to not want to watch the show. Kept telling me Veronica reminded him too much of Chloe on Smallville and had no interest in checking it out simply because of that. I convinced him otherwise, so he downloaded, and shortly after he started watching non-stop was when I think we just all of a sudden stopped talking. It's so weird to randomly see him on livejournal! Wow.

I think he had just been on the Kelly Clarkson boards way too much and starts opinionated discussions/arguments because he's use to it. Kelly fans on the board he posted at were INSANE. Always arguing. I never went there because of all the crap he told me about. Hopefully he's gotten away from there or will become more familiar with LJ, where we usually keep comments religion-related out of our fandoms. Or atleast show courtesy to others'...

You managed to change his mind on Veronica Mars, so I'd say it isn't completely unchangeable. I didn't actually have that much of an issue with his comments, until he got all bitchy at people for using snarky text icons. That's just picking a fight for the sake of it.

Well, that's more so changing his mind of finally watching it. (I believe it took about twenty quotes and screencaps to convince him finally. The wit and pretty, all it takes!) Having an opinion on the show after having watched it? That's set in stone.

I'm constantly amazed at what people don't know about their own fandom and how violently they react when they find out. I've been in fandom so long you'd think I'd be used to it by now, but it still surprises me.

Eh, I don't really get the whole 'movie spoilers' thing. I mean if you've read the book you know what should happen and vaguely what will happen. With Harry Potter in particular the movies have mostly just been a collection of images illustrating the books, to my mind at least.

I think it's more waiting to see how the director etc. interpreted the book. As you mentioned, having read it so many times I already know the story, so it's nice to be surprised by what they keep and what they don't, as well as how they visually portray things that I imagined.

Wow, she's just perfect, as you've mentioned multiple times. She just makes me feel calm with her voice, like Luna's parts in the book did. It's so nice to see just how perfect they got it.

as much as I despise Scientology (which is actually legally considered as a cult or sect and not a religion in my country) itself, these pics are the cutest thing ever and who cares is Jason was born into it. As long as he portrays Logan like he does and looks so cute with the other VM boys hahaha
