Most of the Browncoats on my list will know this already, but if you're not a fan of Firefly yet this should give you a good idea of why the rest of us are.

When a Firefly con was cancelled at the last second the fans got together and organised another party AND THE ACTORS SHOWED UP.

That is why our fandom is better than yours.
