I think I'm going to sit at home and watch Disney Channel all week.

I did see one more movie in 2006, on New Year's Eve with tuatha_de, so here's my review of Volver

It was...an interesting experience. While it had its moments of comedy, Almodovar's films have taken a distinctly darker turn lately and this one's no exception. It's got some really strong performances from some amazing actresses - there's almost no men in the film. Penelope Cruz is like a whirlwind. I love her when she acts in Spanish. Still, I didn't really enjoy watching the film. It walked a fine line between entertaining and unsettling and I wasn't really willing to go with it.

Uh, most idiotic 'hottest male star' poll ever. Not that I have anything against any of those men exactly, but where are the rest of the hot men? How are THEY the ones that made the list? Where are the boys of Supernatural, Heroes? The rest of the boys from the shows mentioned? *eyeroll*

LOL someone made a Why I Dislike Duncan picspam and it made me like him. I suppose I'm just contrary and have been paying too much attention to indilime's opinons, but half of those reasons aren't fair. I only agree with a small number of them. And he looks pretty in those pictures. It also focusses on one of my pet peeves, comparing him with Logan rather than judging him as a character on his own. That's what people are doing with Piz and I hate it.

I was really annoyed by the "Why I Dislike Duncan" picspam. WE GET IT. The majority of the fandom hates Duncan. He's not on the show anymore. Do we really need to go over all of the reasons again? MOVE ON! Sigh.

I'm not even Duncan's biggest fan and I disliked it. I hate any kind of anti posts. I don't read anti-Jo posts linked from communities and I can't stand her.
