Previously on….ELAC to open? Really?
This show is just so pretty, I love the opening shot with the swinging sign. Okay, so I actually know the secret of this show having read sides, so it will hopefully be more about the execution than the twist. Ugh, creepy dolls. Oooh! That head thing was AWESOME.
Hey missing Ava. Blah Ellen. LOL ANGST AND DROOPY MUSIC. ILU DEAN. Not directed by Jensen, then. A MONTH?!?! Fucking pretty Dean, wow. And Paddywhack looks good too, with his emo fringe in his eyes. This sort of scene after the other scene is why I love this show. Not the story arcs, the pretty boys and pretty shots and cool scary stuff before they solve it and it’s not scary.
Car porn yay! DUDE this is SWEET! What does mine say? Dude! What about mine? Sweet! What does mine say? …sorry. I love Dude, Where’s My Car? Pretty location, plus some nice Croatoan-style atmosphere. LOL Daphne. You know Sam’s more of a Velma guy. GAY JOKES FTW. Their little faces! How did they NOT get the antiquing thing? Honestly. I love Jensen’s face, he has a great face for comedy and such good timing with the ‘What’d you mean we look the type?’
LOL that butler guy is fantastic. Man, Jensen just looks so good I’m trying not to actually drool on the keyboard. LOL KINDA BUTCH OVERCOMPENSATING BRILLIANT. Although I would like to see a cool gay character on the show to counteract all the negativity. C’mon, Kripke. I’m enjoying less-angsty Sam this season.
Ah, doll collection, very cute Dean. Sam, honestly, you never mess with the older sibling, we ALWAYS win in the end. I like the single shot of Grandma Rose. PORN REFERENCE.
Note from Joss Whedon: yes, a little girl humming IS creepy. I know, because I did it in Hush, an episode of television superior to everything you’ve done yet Kripke. Step up! Moving on.
…is Sam drunk? Yes. Clearly. LMAO Jensen isn’t short! Yeah, so? Stupid. LOL. Oh, here’s the angst and woe. Aww, sasquatch. Bored now. Oooh touchy and so cute! I love how touchy boys get when they’re drunk, I am just not that into the angst of it all...which is hypocritical, considering the kind of drunk I am. C’mon, the puppy-dog eyes aren’t fair, Dean wouldn’t be able to refuse that. He promises? He’ll break that if it comes to it. AHAHA face-grabbing. Damn, Paddywhack rolling around on the bed was hot.
That really is an amazing old hotel they’re shooting in. The age difference between the current Grandma Rose and her daughter is too big.
I like Dean checking to make sure Sam didn’t remember anything and look at the shoulders on Paddywhack wow. His face is great in this episode too.

That would be the secret I knew. I like the girl’s car. GO ACTION SAM!
AHAHA ‘Listen, lady, that car didn’t try to run you down by itself! Well I guess it did…technically, but…forget it.’
The stuff with the dolls is really great. I love the Maggie doll, and how the girls dress identically. I am, however, desperately sick of the writers making little girls evil. Three episodes in a season and a half is just getting lazy.
C’mon, action Winchesters away! Oh, my gods. Recreating the Dean Dead in the Water scene is Not On. That takes away from the impact of that moment, decreases Dean’s value in the viewers’ eyes and is a blatant attempt to further the obvious change in role of this season. I really hate that about this show, they repeat things too much. That really pissed me off! And Dean getting there too late. NOBODY tried CPR? LOL that kid looked reeeeeally hard.
Yeah, I figured as much.
Clearly that woman didn’t care much about her mother. O.o Dean and his milf action. I CALL DO-OVER.
So now they’re both stuck there forever? That was a gorgeous scene at the end. That’s a nice subtle metaphor for the brothers without being stupid and overblown like the water saving. They even played Dean’s Dead in the Water moment in the Previously On section. I’m so mad about that.
