The first fandom I was involved in actively on the internet (as opposed to the first thing I was a fan of) would be Sliders, and my favourite character was Quinn Mallory. Watching it again he's still my favourite. He's an interesting, sexy, geeky hero for what was once a smart show.
2. You win a week-long, all expenses paid trip for two. Where do you go and who do you take?
I'd go to LA to visittruffle_shuffle and do touristy stuff, and I'd bring melissajane14 because she'd appreciate it and could use the break.

Good Omens.
4. What is your all-time favorite song? (Or favorite song of the moment, if that's too hard.)
Sleep While I Drive by k.d. lang and Melissa Etheridge is my favourite song, probably ever. It's beautiful.
5. If money/income was not an issue, what would be your dream job?
I'd like to be a writer for a TV show.

I'm not good at new ideas, really. I would just develop anything Joss wants to make.

I want to see My Chemical Romance as a whole with Frank there! I wish I'd been an 'N Sync fan as a teenager, I'd like to see them live.
3. What do you like most about yourself?
My sense of loyalty.
4. If you could only watch one movie for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I'd kill myself. Does the Lord of the Rings trilogy count as one movie? If not, Singin' in the Rain.
5. How would you like your life to be in 5 years?
More financially successful.

Because she does better spams than me, cares about her friends list, thinks of the best ways to involve everybody in fandom, spams with me in the middle of the night, and is generally the most awesome people ever.
2. What do you think about Lost in general this season? Where does it stand in your "favorite shows" list? What do you think the writers could do to make it more compelling like season 1?
I LOVE Lost this season. Personally, I think each season is getting better - I think the only way to make it more compelling is to kill off a number of the characters and stick with their older guys, with added Desmond. There's no way to actually bring back the season one feeling, because it was a novelty back then and it can't get that back - I don't think that's the show's fault, though.
In terms of what's on right now, Lost is still my favourite show, but on my all-time list it's second after Firefly.
3. Is Piz too good for Veronica?
I love Veronica, but I think she and Piz aren't a good match. Piz is more suited to someone like Mac. Veronica's just too jaded for him, and thrives on drama.
4. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live, and why?
LA, because I might be able to get a job on a show that I like and that would make me happy.
5. What is your favorite thing to do outside of lj/the computer/fandom in general?
Go to the movies!

5. It's one of the most cleverly written, funny, witty shows on television.
4. It's Joss Whedon's favourite show and he was on it.
3. Of everything on TV, it's the most like Joss's work - there's nothing supernatural or scifi about it, but it's got good writing and strong characters and story arcs like Joss's.
2. The cast is completely adorable, very attractive, and all have excellent relationships with each other.

4. He is the best television writer pretty much ever, because he has the ability to balance overall story arcs with the little details - he can writer brilliant one-liners and keep continuity (for the most part).
