Why are icons these days all so fiddled with you can't actually see the original picture? I don't care how pretty or artistic it is, I want to see the original and I like entertaining text on it, too. I'd prefer a clear, funny, interesting or clever icon that is maybe not as good quality to a gorgeous but boring one.
ETA: also, I want to memorise every phrase on this site. I've been there before and managed to only remember 'Go kiss an orc,' 'Your head is empty' and 'I love you.'
