Fun in Acapulco

Dude, it's an Elvis movie. He wooed women, made nice with kids, got around in high-waisted pants, sang whenever he could and wore a lot of fake tan. In Acapulco. Who needs plot when you've got Elvis? My aunt came in while we were watching it, got all excited and sat down to watch the rest with us - I think I know who the movies were aimed at.

Office Space

I was not expecting this to be as hilarious as it was. It was really clever and I love the sense of humour in it, the slightly warped reality. I have a phobia of office jobs and cubicles so I could relate, and the use of music was completely inspired. I love all the nuanced characters and it had some awesome lines. Top stuff.

If you liked Office Space... you'll love The Office. No, really, I was looking at my DVD collection last night and because they're right beside each other (alphabetizing, ho!) it made me realise how less funny Office Space is in retrospect when you compare the two.

From what I've seen of them, both. I can't watch it at all, I try but I have to turn it off after five minutes.
