I have been stupid tired lately. Also, it turns out that trying to make your icon look like the icons that usually win a contest actually works. I don't really enjoy it, though.

Dude I agree about the making icons that look like winning icons thing. The problem is that every group has a certain taste and sometimes it just isn't my taste like, at all. So I try and cater to the group's taste and hate the final product haha. Then I always end up making a totally different version, submitting that one, and getting shit for it.

Stupid fascist voters. We need to make our own contest of just us and the cool people we know.

The problem is we all have our own tastes too, and I guess it's just the number of people with a certain interest that defines which icons will win. But I like to experiment! It's a difficult balance to find.
