Get To Know Your F-List Week!
Every day I'll ask two random questions. All you have to do is answer them!

Day Two
1. Do you have any nervous habits?
2. Who's the character you fell in love with fastest, and who's the character who fell for hardest?

1. This question was inspired by [livejournal.com profile] truffle_shuffle's, she asked for people's worst habits and they kept bringing up things like biting your nails. I have a million things like that - I bite my nails, chew pens, play with my hair, jiggle my leg, rub my legs repeatedly when I'm cold. They're called nervous habits but I don't just do them when I'm nervous. I have worse ones that I try to stop, too, like picking at scabs. I don't do it intentionally most of the time.

2. I think the character I've fallen in love with fastest is actually Piz. I was almost in love with him before I saw him on the show, just based on Chris Lowell, but then Piz turned out to be one of my favourite characters ever. He's so sweet and talented and funny, and I love the way he talks. Brilliant. It took me a while to fall for Sirius, but I'd say he's the character I've fallen for hardest. My ex-boyfriend was actually jealous of my love for Sirius Black, which probably says more about him than it does about me. The worst thing is, I really started to love Sirius in Order of the Phoenix...right before he died.

1. Do you have any nervous habits?
I tend to crack my wrists a lot, which annoys a ton of people. I also jiggle my legs and most of the time I don't even notice that I'm doing it.

2. Who's the character you fell in love with fastest, and who's the character you fell for hardest?
Hmm I'd have to say I fell in love with Piz the fastest as well. His very first scene just made me love his character faster than I really thought I could love a character. As for hardest... I'd have to say Daniel Jackson on Stargate SG1. I think the fact that the show was on for 10 seasons helped with that, but there was so much to his character and he went through a ton of stuff that I just fell hard.

Realizes she hasn't answered day one's questions yet..

My sister does the wrist-cracking thing, it sounds like it hurts.

Daniel Jackson is awesome.

1. If I am wearing jewelry of any kind, I will play with it. I learned long ago that I cannot wear jewelry while giving a presentation because I look extrememly fidgity and nervous. My other habit is smoothing my eyebrows. Random, huh? But I have this sort of constant worry that my eyebrows have gotten messed up somehow.

2. I think it would have to be Mr. Rochester from Jane Eyre that I fell in love with the most quickly, probably because I identify so strongly with Jane. I think the character I fell for the hardest would have to be Faramir, from the LotR books, not the movie. Here again, it has a lot to do with how strongly I identify with Eowyn.

Marry me. Seriously, because you're the only one who will ever be able to understand me. My friends like to make fun of me for my obsession with messy eyebrows. :)

1. my right eye twitches.

2. Fastest - That would be my first: Wednesday Addams in the original Adams Family. (We were the same age at the time!) That led into a LONGTIME hard crush of Christina Ricci.

3. Hardest? Hmmm...most RECENT would be Hawkgirl on JLU, dunno about hardest though... Had it pretty bad for Rose in Doctor Who, but again that's recent and not the hardest... maybe Jubilee in the early 90s......

You know, I may have to say Wednesday again since it started the CR crush and my love of all things goth and both are still strong today.

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

Christina Ricci is awesome. I used to love Casper as a kid and I love her in Sleepy Hollow.

1. I pick my split ends so often, especially when I'm bored (I always have something to do!) but it's kind of a fascinating compulsion too.

2. Fastest: Sylar from Heroes. I thought he was adorable as soon as the actor hit the screen, and quickly found a lot of company on LJ. I like that he's not universally adored by Heroes fans, like Jensen Ackles is on Supernatural. I guess I like my fandom crushes to be a little less popular.

Hardest: Faith from Buffy.

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

I don't really care whether my crushes are universal or only shared by a small group of people, as long as I like them. Zach Quinto has proven to be pretty popular though!

Faith rules.

1. I bite my nails, but I don't do it as much as I used to. I used to bite on pens/pencils, but I haven't done tbhat since high school. I jiggle my legs a lot, which annoys people, LOL.

2. Hmm. I fell in love with Charlie Pace the fastest, because of Dom. I don't really have an answer for the hardest, nobody is really coming to mind right now. I love a lot of characters right now a lot, like Dwight Schrute, Hurley, Desmond, etc.

From: [identity profile] stufsocker.livejournal.com

I have a cousin-in-law who always jiggles his leg. It gave me motion sickness the one time I sat next to him at a famiy dinner. ;-) He's very... um... special that way.

From: [identity profile] stufsocker.livejournal.com

1. When nervous I play with my hair, tap my heel, rub my nails together, crack my knuckles, look around the room a lot, press my lips together, pace... all sorts of things. It really depends on the magnitude of nervous. Before meeting Masi I had trouble sleeping and got a nervous stomach so I couldn't really eat normally for a week. That's pretty nervous, yo. The hug, flirt, and his giggling were totally worth it.
2. Fastest crush? Dr. Grant from Jurassic Park. Kapow! Hardest crush? *sigh* Hiro... *purrs* I have a thing for brainy guys; what can I say? (Tee dinosaurs and swords didn't hurt, either.)

From: [identity profile] stufsocker.livejournal.com

2. Oh, actually, I might have had a faster crush on Shaun (of the Dead)

1. I don't. Wow. I used to bite my nails, I don't anymore. I used to bite the inside of my lip, I don't anymore.

2. Fastest, I'd say Ron Weasley. I loved him from the first moment he appeared, he just smiled and I was set.
Hardest? Um. Probably Fox Mulder, but it was so long ago I don't remember. I'm going to say Remus.

From: [identity profile] zombres.livejournal.com

1. I tend to mess with my face and run my fingers through my hair. Which leads to me pulling out huge hunks of hair and a greasy face. *ICK* I've got OCD, so it's extremely difficult for me to break these habits.

2. Fell in love with the fastest? I'd say Gregory House, M.D. Then again, Hugh Laurie has that affect on me. For the hardest? Definitely David Tennant's Doctor. By the third episode, I wanted to be Rose so badly I was almost in physical pain. *Sigh*

From: [identity profile] superfrayed.livejournal.com

1. I play w/ either my eyebrows or eyelashes and it leads to me sometimes rupping them out...it's annoying. Also I chew on the inside on my cheeks. And if I'm wearing a chain & pendant I'm always playing with them.

2. I think that the fastest is probably Helo. I don't know what it was about him, well, ok he was hot and then when he gives up his spot? Yeah. It pretty much cemented my love for him. The hardest, um..Probably Captain Tightpants himself.

From: [identity profile] readywreadywit.livejournal.com

1. hmmm...yea, gotta go with the nail chewing.

2.kate austen. god, she's amazing. annnnnnd while it took me a long time (as you know) i love starbuck now. like...the more i learn about katee the more i love her! you meant like 'love' as in fan of, right?

From: [identity profile] readywreadywit.livejournal.com

(wait, can i change the first one to lee adama? *INSTADROOL* lmfao!)

From: [identity profile] overthemoo.livejournal.com

1. Besides the usual nail biting. Putting my fingers through my hair because it annoys the shit out of me. But my worst is biting/picking at my lips. I try to stop every week. And it's not a nervous habit either.

2. Character I fell for fastest? Charlie, because of Dom mostly. Otherwise, Jess (GG) or Simon Tam. Hardest...definitely, Jim Halpert. But Pam's certainly up there because of season three. :P

From: [identity profile] kry-86.livejournal.com

1.nervous habits? Not really... I'm good at hiding my nerves for the most part.
2. Fastest: Dean, Supernatural... hello Jensen Ackles! He is so bad ass! I just lust for him. And then I got to know his character, that wonderful caring nature for Sam. He makes my insides all squishy. Hardest: Alex, Roswell played my Colin Hanks. I love Alex, he is my dream guy. A little geeky, has a band, and cares for his friends above all else. I also read the books the show was based on which were released a few months before the show was picked up, keep in mind I was 12, and this was pre-teen literature. I loved his character in the book he was a little more romantic and being a book it made it easier to get into the character's head. He is/was just an amazing character and when he left the show I BAWLED my eyes out!

although I´m not on your f-list

1. Do you have any nervous habits?
I start playing with my necklace, bite my own hair and I´m getting cold and stomache ache :(

2. Who's the character you fell in love with fastest, and who's the character who fell for hardest?
The character I fell in love with fastest was Tess Harding on Roswell. At the second she appeared I loved her already without knowing anything about her :D she is also the character I fell for hardest. I still love her. She´ll always be my favorite tv character of all times (directly followed by Summer Roberts of The OC)

From: [identity profile] blondiusmaximus.livejournal.com

1. I bite my nails, twirl my hair, jiggle my leg, and the worst one is that I rub my hands together and scrape my nails against my arm. It's soothing? Various roommates have told me that I even do it when I'm sleeping.

2. Mal Reynolds, on both counts. I was in love from the pilot episode.

1. I scratch at my head a lot when I am really nervous, making noises that tend to annoy/freak out people.

2. The fastest character I fell in love with the fastest was actually Frodo. I started reading LOTR, and he is one of the characters I can relate to most at that time. As to the charcter I fell for the hardest was probably 9th (Doctor Who), I was just stumbled into the tv series and I was completely blown away by him (smart, but cynical at times). I still feel a little bit sad that Christopher E. left the show. :P

1. Do you have any nervous habits?
Giggles. Whenever I get nervous or bored, some part of my brain *snaps* and nearly everything is funny. Makes interviewing interesting, let me tell 'ya! I sometimes knee-bounce or knuckle-crack too.

2. Who's the character you fell in love with fastest, and who's the character who fell for hardest?

This is a holdover from childhood: Wolverine. When I was little, my local library had comic books you could check out, and it became a weekly ritual for mom to take me there to swap out my x-men comics. Wolverine was just bad-ass, start to finish. Strong, complex, and sarcastic. Hugh Jackman was an excellent choice for the movies; he brought the Wolverine in my head onto the screen perfectly. I never expected to like the movie version, but I do, completely. I wanted to marry him when I was a kid. *is a dork*

1. Do you have any nervous habits?
Mostly, I just fidget, depending on the situation. I'll also reach up like I'm scratching my head. I know there are others but my mind is blank at the moment.

2. Who's the character you fell in love with fastest, and who's the character who fell for hardest?

Fastest: Would probably have to Sawyer
Hardest: would be...I'm gonna have to go with John Rider (Sean Bean as The Hitcher) :)

From: [identity profile] framianne.livejournal.com

1) I constantly, constantly smooth my eyebrows down, and I grind my teeth. At night I wear a special...thing in my mouth that helps me, but I do it during the day too, and it leads to lots of very bad headaches.

2) Anne Elliot (DUH) from Persuasion by Jane Austen; I immediately felt such a deep connection to her. And I don't think I've fallen really hard for a character in a book, movie or anything, but I have huge amounts of love for the main character of an Italian book called Instant Love.

From: [identity profile] ack-attack.livejournal.com

1. I twirl my hair pretty much CONSTANTLY, and have since I was a baby. I pretty much never stop moving around, like you, they aren't nervous habits, they are just...habits haha. I also pull on my clothes a lot because I think I look fat from certain angles lol.

2. Fastest was probably...Dean Winchester haha. He's like impossible to dislike, right from the get-go. Hardest I think would be either Sawyer or Jim Halpert. The other night when Drennen was over there were these frogs in my backyard making SO MUCH noise. And at one point he was like "I'm just going to go and crush them in my hand." And I went "Aw, then you'd be like Sawyer" and he knows that I love Sawyer so much that he thought I meant aw that's so cute, you'd be like Sawyer, when I actually meant, Aw, you'd be killing a frog :O LOL

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

Yeah, I know what you mean, I'm the same way about the habits.

Dean is amazing, but I didn't fall for him right away because the show had some issues with characterisation early in the first season. And late in the first season, if we count John. *sigh*

From: [identity profile] foxsyd.livejournal.com

1. I'm an outwardly calm person, when I'm nervous, it goes straight to my bowels, uuh, so I guess that makes my nervous habit... going to the toilet A LOT! (No, just thought of another, I have a gag reflex cough, I can't help it, happens when I'm out with friends chatting and laughing).

2. Fastest: Peter Petrelli, Hardest: Peter Petrelli. (Fox Mulder should get a mention, it's my Fox Mulder obsession all over again).

From: [identity profile] truffle-shuffle.livejournal.com

1. Do you have any nervous habits?
I can never sit still, and I bite my bottom lip a lot without realizing it.

2. Who's the character you fell in love with fastest, and who's the character who fell for hardest?
Probably Xander, who was my first ever TV Boyfriend. I think I'd seen 10 minutes of the first episode of Buffy I'd ever watched by the time I was absolutely in love with him. And, like your love of Sirius, my ex-boyfriend was jealous of my love for Xander. But that might have been because I tried to get him to wear his hair like Xander did at the time. LOL.

From: [identity profile] melissajane14.livejournal.com

What about peeling the labels off beer bottles?

We should start pretending that your ex was one of those things that "never happened, I don't know what you're talking about"

Now me

1. Jiggling my leg, playing with my hair, I don't know, you probably have a better idea than me...

2. fastest - McGonnagal, because she reminds me of my mother
hardest - I don't really fall seriously in love with fictional characters.

From: [identity profile] melissajane14.livejournal.com

Hang on I realised reading other people's answers - I smooth my eyebrows and play with my necklace, I also check frequently that my earrings are still in place. Does procrastination count as a nervous habit?

1. I talk faster and louder when I'm nervous. As for my nails, I always bite them.

2. fastest: Andy from the Office.
Hardest: Probably Remus. SKHD. I love him.

From: [identity profile] supertrink.livejournal.com

1. I will start picking at my cuticles when I'm nervous.
2. Fastest would probably be Hurley, and hardest... assuming I don't have to stick to TV, Jack Black's character in The Pick of Destiny. I know it's kinda just an exaggerated version of himself, I'm cool with that. :D

From: [identity profile] tristantrakand.livejournal.com

1. When I'm nervous I get really, really quiet, then when somebody starts talking to me I end up saying something really, really embarrassing about myself. As in really embarrassing, "other person probably won't be talking to me again" type of stuff.

2. Sirius from SBP. He had me when he was talking about commas and the Chinese.
