Well, here's the apology for Strikout. It all seems fine and dandy except that there's still an insinuation written right into the message that there is such a thing as the wrong way to think, and that people are using discussion of fiction to hide their real urges. It also suggests that fiction has to be loudly and clearly damning, which defies the idea of fiction as a representation or reflection of real life that we have to think about. And, oh yeah, how is it I could find out a lot of what was going on from Australia while they couldn't figure out the problem from their own office?

Yeah, they did throw some double speak in the apology, but since I wasn't even expecting them to acknowledge it... I'm still happy.

oh yeah, that's one of the things I love about naamah (both my wife and I crush over her constantly) - her use of language, colorful metaphors, etc... she turns a phrase better than ANYONE.

And I do mean ANYONE.

If she could somehow make what she writes consumable for the masses I'm convinced she'd be famous...

Only, that wouldn't be nearly as much fun to read. :)
