Latest updates in Green Queen's desperate attempts to keep herself entertained and distracted until Deathly Hallows day:
1. Saw Order of the Phoenix again tonight. I really enjoyed watching everybody in the background of this one. I think Bonnie Wright is a fabulous Ginny - her reaction shots are spot-on, and for some reason I find Reducto to be a really appropriate hex for her. She's gorgeous. I love all the Weasleys, in fact. Fred and George kill me dead with their hilarious rebellion & general sweetness, Arthur delighting in the Muggle subway system is adorable, Mrs. Weasley is EXACTLY as she is in the books and RON. Brave, funny, oblivious, gorgeous Ron, I love EVERYTHING he does in this movie. I love the Daily Prophet scene transitions, and everything Evanna Lynch does. The scene where Umbridge kicks Trelawney out is heartbreaking. They changed Umbridge a bit for the movie, but to me it makes her maybe less evil but scarier - she really, deeply believes that she's a good person trying to do the right thing, and it's disturbing. The music is GORGEOUS, I could focus better this time and it captures the mood every time. Why do the Death Eaters float around as black smoke while the Order floats around as black smoke, though? And can we send Emma Watson and Devon Murray to a decent acting coach before Half-Blood Prince, PLEASE?
Also: OMG SIRIUS *sobs* REMUS AND HARRY LOVED HIM SO MUCH! And yet I still love Bellatrix.
ETA: I forgot to mention, when I was in the line for the movie Clare said rather loudly 'SIRIUS DIES!' and I said it was rude, there might be people in line who hadn't read the book. We talked about spoilers and I said I would hate, hate, hate to be spoiled for the book. So the guy turns around and says "Harry Potter dies. They leaked it on the news." I was LIVID. I wanted to turn around and punch him in the face. I couldn't even think of anything snarky to say, so I had to just stand there ignoring him while I saw red. At some point I did say something, I can't remember what it was. But that, my friends, is the pinnacle of asshattery.
2. Took Clare for a driving lesson and worked for a couple of hours (and talked to my boss for a further half an hour about Harry Potter.)
3. Watched Ladies' Choice about a billion times. Listened to it a lot on iTunes when not watching it.
4. Read up on Harry Potter fandom wank - every link leads to another, and every link becomes more and more ridiculous. I really don't mind people shipping Harry/Hermione, it's those nutcase Harmoanians that I can't believe. Emerson was perfectly right, they're INSANELY delusional and sometimes borderline psychotic. JKR's quite right too, she's dropped anvil-sized hints since Chamber of Secrets. I think this summary of characters is my favourite.
There's a fun little article here with loads of Harry Potter fact tidbits that I actually didn't know. I can understand why Ian McKellen turned down Dumbledore after he'd played Gandalf, but I would've loved to have seen him, he would've rocked it. Also, I don't need a mole to tell the twins apart.

7th book, 7 questions for Rupert. There's a cute video there too :)

With Billy doing press for Return of the King.
4 days - you may not like him, but you can't deny, Dumbledore's got style

Am I the only one who reads all the damn spoilers? I pre-ordered the book yesterday but I am still reading all spoilers I can find because it's fun and I don't really think they are true anyway.

And I don't need help telling the twins apart either. But you knew that. I think their faces are actually pretty different once you really look at them.
