Dude, the Supernatural fandom is exploding with babies. Also, in a TOTALLY SHOCK MOVE that I NEVER SAW COMING, Kripke said the new characters won't ruin the show. Will wait and judge for myself, kthxbai. Some other guy attempted to rationalise. Did anyone show him the crappy character breakdowns? *sigh*
Binball! Highly addictive.
ETA: I must have missed these when I was out of commission post-Potterdammerung, but wow, these Blue Sun posters are amazing. I love that they're gorgeous and interesting, but have a hint of fascist propaganda about them.
Hairspray isn't coming out here until SEPTEMBER THIRTEENTH, PEOPLE. I've never been so tempted to download a movie and watch it ahead of time in my LIFE.
Stop your sobbing! More Potter to come. Maybe we'll find out WHAT HAPPENS TO LUNA! I could not be more excited about this; my favourite part of the books has always been the brilliant characterisation, so an encyclopedia of characters is the perfect thing for me. I can't wait to read it.
AFJHSDF:LKJS OMG. I never really liked PotterPuffs before, but the Deathly Hallows ones are ADORABLE. Okay, so I only said that because of the first one.
I don't think I explained I know that Dumbledore's portrait is hanging in the Headmaster's Office at Hogwarts. We have to assume, however, that the specific plans for moving Harry were hatched after Dumbledore's death, or at least CHANGED once they found out Snape killed Dumbledore or Snape would betray them and tell the plans to the Death Eaters, right? OK, so, HOW DOES DUMBLEDORE KNOW? He can't have known BEFORE he died, because then he would have told Snape. He has to have found out afterwards, somehow.
If Snape knew them, how did HE know? There's no indication that he spoke to Mundungus BEFORE Confunding him to tell him about the multiple Potters, so if that's how he found out it's an oversight.
Confirmed casting for Half-Blood Prince - I don't know HOW people can call it a spoiler, since there will be posters and interviews and stuff EVERYWHERE when the movie comes out, but eh. Naomi Watts seemed way too young at first, but then I discovered she's 39 - which would make her about 23 when Draco was born. She's also only 2 years younger than Helena Bonham Carter, who's playing her sister, so it pretty much makes sense. There's never been anything in the books stating that she and Lucius were the same age anyway.
I don't know who Joseph Fiennes and Stuart Townsend are playing. I'd hazard a guess at Joseph for young!Voldemort or Tom Riddle Sr., given that he's Ralph's brother. Stuart I can't even guess at though.

There's plenty of time before Harry's birthday that the date could have been.

They're both too old to play young!Voldy.
I've been wondering about the Merope casting too. I'd go for Emily Watson or Samantha Morton. They both have the features and big eyes to do a convincing put-upon roll.
Someone once posted their idea for Marvolo and Morfin and I STILL think it's brilliant: Peter O'Toole and Rhys Ifans.

I've read spec that Stuart might be playing Fenrir.

He's WAY too young to play Fenrir, Fenrir's supposed to have bitten Remus as a kid.

I like Naomi Watts but she doesn't seem as icy as I would have wanted her. I prefer someone like Kirsten Scott Thomas!

Yea, I don't know who to believe though I did read the Leaky Cauldron news that these were all false reports. Doh.
