Hours it Took You to Finish DH: Nine, all in one hit.
BEFORE
Former Favorite HP Book: Prisoner of Azkaban
Canon (or Not Disproved) Ships You Supported: Ron/Hermione, Remus/Sirius (though I like Harry/Ginny just fine)
Number of DH Theories You Had: Snape is good, the heirs of the founders thing, Petunia would do magic (though that was debunked before the book came out), the final battle would happen at Hogwarts, Ron and Hermione would get together (I mean duh), Harry wouldn't die (I was sort of right), a Weasley would die, Snape would die, Voldemort would die.
Describe Your Best/Favorite Theory: I quite liked my Hogwarts heirs one. Oh well.
What Time Did You Get it at?: 9:20-ish Saturday morning (there was a long line at the store, it went on sale at 9:01 a.m.)
DURING
What you did/thought about…
The Seven Potters: I liked it, I thought it was cute and kept thinking about how it will look on film. The action was terrifying and really effective, too. Very upset about Hedwig.
Regulus: Kinda...already figured it out. But it's nice to know that Regulus was a decent guy in the end. I'm sad that Sirius never knew that Regulus died for the cause.
Ron Leaving: It's very much in-character, and I love Ron, flaws and all. As Harry said, he always wants to come back; it was worth having him leave just for that amazing reunion scene, which I love everything about (the silver doe, the sword in the lake, the Horcrux taunting Ron and Ron overcoming it all. AND THE HUGGING. Yes.)
Godric's Hollow: The actual return felt rather anti-climactic; I don't know why, but I was hoping for more. I liked the memorial and the graffiti on the sign. The Bathilda Bagshot thing was creepy and amazing and disturbing, I loved it. Although, not having a visual imagination, I kept wondering how the charm worked and how Nagini was...you know, getting around. Cuz she doesn't have legs.
The Deathly Hallows: I was really interested in the Hallows, and how they came from a children's story, and I thought it wonderfully fitting that Xenophilius Lovegood was the one to explain them to us. I think the Hallows are about defeating death rather than living forever, which is a different concept, and they had kind of a lovely, mythological feel to them.
Breaking into Gringotts: I can see why it was necessary, but Griphook gave me the creeps, and I was glad when it was over. I liked Hermione-as-Bellatrix, and learning about the safeguards the Goblins have in place, the demystifying of one of our first introductions to the Wizarding world.
Aberforth and Ariana: I know I said that they didn't change my attitude towards Dumbledore, but that doesn't mean I wasn't really interested in this part of the story. Aberforth intrigues me as a character, he's very clearly not as bright as Albus (and the goat thing is still funny) but he's got a really basic sense of decency that Albus didn't have, in my opinion. Working with disabled people, Ariana's story upset me, but in a good way - she was portrayed very accurately, along with the burden she placed upon everyone else. Really sad stuff.
Snape Being Good: I always knew. I had a feeling the people who said he loved Lily were right, and I didn't really know that they were friends beforehand or that Petunia had seen them together, but I knew he was always on the Order's side.
Harry Being a Horcrux: I still don't understand the theory behind it. Creating Horcruxes was supposed to be so incredibly difficult, but Voldemort made one accidentally? I kind of understand how destroying the 'vessel' destroyed the Horcrux, as the part of Harry that lived in Voldemort (the blood) can't have contained any Horcrux because it was in Voldemort, who still has a piece of his soul (worst sentence ever), but it's still really odd. I like that Dumbledore's 'gleam of triumph' was explained, though, I've been wondering about that for years.
King's Cross: I totally understand why Harry had the conversation with Dumbledore there: that was the start of his new magical life. Other than that it was just the usual debriefing. How is there not a question in this survey about THE BEST FREAKING PARTS OF THE BOOK (other than THe Silver Doe & The Prince's Tale) - the reunion of the Marauders and the Potters, walking side-by-side into death, and OMG NEVILLE and the continued Dumbledore's Army movement?
The Epilogue: I was fine with it, except for the fact that it seems as though they did nothing but shag and raise kids. I know family's the most important thing to Harry, but it isn't the definition of his life, surely? Also, Albus Severus Potter is the worst name in history, and I want to know how Luna fared.
AFTER
New Favorite HP Book: Prisoner of Azkaban
Canon Ships You Now Support: ...haven't changed at all. I still think Remus/Sirius is perfectly viable, maybe even more so after DH, and Ron/Hermione was inevitable.
Number of Your Theories That Came True (or Sort of Did): Dumbledore asking Snape to kill him, Snape being good, Harry not dying, a Weasley dying, the final battle being at Hogwarts.
Overall Impression of DH: I really enjoyed it. It had me on the edge of my seat, it made me laugh and cry and cheer.
Favorite Part: The Silver Doe, The Prince's Tale, and the Marauders and Lily walking Harry to his death. Oh, and badass!Neville.
Least Favorite Part: Although I didn't hate it like other people, probably the Epilogue.
Saddest Part: The Marauders and the Potters. It was a bittersweet kind of sadness, which made it even harder for me, I think. I've always loved the Marauders' story best, and seeing them reunited in death, walking Harry to his fate, is heartbreaking. Fred's death was the other part that really made me cry. Poor George.
Coolest Part: 'Not my daughter, you bitch!' and 'I'll join you when hell freezes over. DUMBLEDORE'S ARMY!' NEVILLE WINS AT DEATHLY HALLOWS.
Best Completely Unexpected Part: I never expected Molly to pwn Bellatrix.
Best New Character: I know it's kinda random, but I really like Ted Tonks. His death upset me. I'm not sure what it is about him, but he affected me. I love wee!James, too, just like his grandfather & Sirius :D
Saddest Character Death: Fred. Lupin's was, again, bittersweet - he wasn't really happy in life.
Best Magic/Magical Item: LOL everyone raves about Hermione's tiny bag, which is pretty cool, but I've always liked the Invisibility Cloak and I love it even more now that I know its importance.

Here's how it works:
1. Open your Winamp/iTunes.
2. Put the shuffle-mode on.
3. Find a picture of the first 20 artists. If the same artist comes again, skip.
4. Have your friends guess who the artists are.

Totally at random, 11 and 13 are actually singing the same song on my iTunes. Also, Judy Garland was in there somewhere at first but I think I forgot to upload her to Photobucket and then she got lost. Sorry, Judy. I still love you.
