Love Meme (mine)
I woke up with a sore ear and suddenly all the crap from yesterday makes sense. I reeeeally have to go to uni tomorrow or go to a doctor and I can't afford a doctor (and fear the free one, having been with Nina and had to wait 3 hours.)
Possible Doctor Who spoilers for future episodes that I'm sure will have some Who fangirls and boys wetting their knickers.
In boykissing news, Jonathan Ross kisses Neil Gaiman at Comic-Con, and Gee kisses Frank AGAIN. They're doing it on purpose, I swear, just to kill us all. I HOPE THEY DO THAT WHEN THEY COME HERE IN NOVEMBER.
There's an extremely dodgy Heroes season 2 clip from Comic-Con up.
I predict Peter Pevensie/Prince Caspian slash. If nobody else writes it... hot damn.
Ten of the coolest gay superheroes you (probably) haven't heard of, except I've totally heard of like 4 of them and I'm not even a comic book fan, so go me.
I found this strange and mind-bending: The girl who played Eve on Angel married the guy who played Tucker (Andrew's brother) on Buffy.

Tonight I watched De-Lovely
Can I just say, so that it's official, I want John Barrowman on a carriage for my next birthday? Thankyou. Guh, I could watch him sing all night.
I'm in two minds about this movie. I'm not convinced I like the framing device, and Kevin Kline has never really managed to engage me in dramas. Contrary to a bunch of reviews I read, I actually much preferred Ashley Judd's more subtle performance. She played Linda as a woman who knew what she was getting herself into and handled it with grace, but could never reconcile it. The way everyone spoke without talking about how they really felt, all the forced politeness and It's my kind of music, and I love that the movie is absolutely filled to the brim with music, playing constantly and always on topic - it's what I imagine living in Cole Porter's head must have been like. The celebrity cameos really didn't work for me, they were self-indulgent and took me out of the movie.
Overall, the movie didn't quite seem to work the way it should have, but it was an interesting ride.
