I had a crappy night tonight and am now not entirely thrilled with Mitchell. Also, I've had this icon [livejournal.com profile] dekolette for ages but I only just noticed that Veronica is in the background, and that the text is probably referring to her. I just thought it appropriate because of how I'm constantly thinking about Piz. Speaking of which, I am preparing my Lamb retrospective but I don't actually have the first few episodes of season 1 of Veronica Mars, right up to 'An Echolls Family Christmas.' Does anyone else have them?

Being a fan of Supernatural and a regular watcher of NCIS (but never having watched Dark Angel, not intentionally - just never really got to see it) I loved this fan meeting with Michael Weatherly.

[livejournal.com profile] phuck made supercool Harry Potter icons - I particularly love the Loony & snitch ones.

My favourite movie magazine, Empire, did a 27%ers poll - that is, the actors who make a movie 27% better just by being in it. And guess which tight-panted captain makes the list?

[livejournal.com profile] mata090680 posted some of my favourite Heroes world tour pics yet.

New Chris Lowell interview! HE IS SO GORGEOUS. It was an interview just like that when I first fell in love with him.

I did a top five songs post for [livejournal.com profile] audiography and decided to share it with you guys.

Hey There Delilah - Plain White T's

I just discovered this song recently and I can't stop listening to it. It's an absolutely gorgeous, sweet long-distance love song. I think whoever I got it from described it as 'punk gone pop'.

Shannon's Song - Two Shots for Poe

TSFP is one of my actor's bands that I hear of because I like the actor in them and stick with because they're fantastic on their own. The actor in this case is lead singer Chris Lowell of Veronica Mars, Life as We Know It and the upcoming Private Practice. This isn't my favourite TSFP song but I like the way with words in this one.

I Don't Dance - Lucas Grabeel & Corbin Bleu

Yes, it's from High School Musical 2, and it's the best song in the whole damn movie. It's fun and suggestive and kitsch, as well as decidedly catchy.

Werewolves of London - Warren Zevon

An 80's cult classic, which pretty much guarantees it to be good value right off the bat. I love the off-beat lyrics and the horror film references. The song makes me smile.

Kill All Your Friends - My Chemical Romance

This is an MCR b-side from their single 'Famous Last Words' and, while I LOVE The Black Parade, this eclipsed almost every song on it as one of my favourites. It's so gloriously angsty and angry but with their usual slightly self-effacing style and musical flair. It's also fun to sing, really loudly, when stuck in traffic.

Thanks for the pimp. :)

And, I've stolen Hey There Delilah. I heard that song for the first time like, 2 years ago, but one of my friends put it as the ringback tone on her cellphone, so every time I call her it gets stuck in my head. Ahahaha.

I heard Hey There Delilah on the radio on a drive home a few weeks back, and I completely fell in love with it. I actually recorded it on my cell so I wouldn't forget the lyrics and be able to google them. I found it online when I got home and listened to it for about 3 days straight after that.

I don't know what possessed me to download it but I love it!

Have you tried neptune_pirates yet? Because I am actually pretty sure that they still have all the episodes.

I like Taye Diggs. Doesn't hurt that he's decidedly gorgeous as well.

27%ers... love the comment somebody made about "Bruce Campbell is the daddy of all 27%ers" - *G*.

But the writer of the column spelled "piques" as "peaks" - -5 points!
