I am SO JEALOUS of all you people with Heroes and Supernatural DVDs. I WANT TO BUY THEM *sobs*

Eclipse is a Heroes convention to be held from the Friday 14th - Sunday 16th March 2008 in the UK (The Park Inn Hotel, Northampton to be specific). If you go and heard it here first, say hi for me!

I'm still upset that I missed out on Gareth.

On the Torchwood front, John Barrowman interview, possible news about the Big Guest Star and artlice on Torchwood going to America, including lots of Joss Whedon praise. Captain Jack Harkness on boar Serenity is, unsurprisingly, something that the writers would love to see. Hot.

Moving on to Supernatural, sides for 3.06 (well, some descriptions of them anyway, it seems the sides themselves are inaccessible to the general public) and more of Jared with a BABY LION!

Heroes time! More of Adrian's fantastic YouTube videos: Milo as the Pink Panther and Bone Marrow Meltdown # 9, part 1; also, a link page with a bunch of everything because [livejournal.com profile] 12_12_12 is made for this stuff, apparently.

Apparently Gerard Way got married last night to a girl he's been dating for five minutes. He's such a dork.

I think I'm the only person who doesn't think 'Flight of the Conchords' is like, the greatest thing ever. I like them OK, but they don't crack me up as much as they seem to with everyone else. Maybe just because I've known about them longer?

Tonight I saw Lady Chatterley

Or, to be more accurate, I attempted to sit through Lady Chatterley, and then got so bored that Mitchell and I left for coffee an hour and a half into the movie. While watching the movie, I actually recited 'Countries of the World' by the Animaniacs in my head and attempted to fall asleep. I have sat through some boring movies in my years of being a film student, but nothing bored me like this. The style almost made it look like it was made in the 70's, the characters were largely laughable (except the lady herself, who was the only passable part of the movie) and I couldn't for the life of me figure out why ANYONE, even someone as sexually deprived as her, would sleep with the gamekeeper in this movie. The audience laughed at inappropriate times, probably just to have any emotional response. And it ran an ENTIRE HOUR longer than I could stand it for. The contradiction of having the French setting with the British names was just jarring. The only good thing I can say about it is that at least I didn't have to pay.

Believe me, you're not alone. I'm poor and unemployed.

I don't get Flight of the Conchords, either. At least not the level of squee it's generated. I watched and went "Hmm. somewhat funny"
.
