MUHNEY TOMORROW OMG OMG OMG!!!

Today I went to my last class EVER, but didn't think about it straight away afterwards because it was POURING and I was concerned about getting soaked getting to my car. As I was driving away I realised that's it, no more class. Now I have to get a grown up job and enter the real world, which is frankly terrifying to me.

Gay news is all over the place today.
Singapore retains its gay sex ban, which isn't overly shocking but is disappointing.
Barack Obama is touring with an anti-gay gospel singer in order to get the African American vote (the gospel thing, not the anti-gay thing); he spoke out saying he doesn't share the anti-gay views and the singer issued a statement saying he's not homophobic! He swears! Obama's not dropping him from the tour, but he did add an openly gay minister, but the gay community's still not chuffed.
Speaking of not being chuffed, Kevin Rudd said marriage is between a man and a woman and the shred of hope I had for him evaporated. I'm voting Greens, baby.

yeah, i'm from Singapore and i was really disappointed that the government decided not to repeal the 377a. i nearly vomited when i saw the news, which of course came out on the front pages of our local newspapers. and i hate that the prime minister's all "Singapore is conservative" because SAYS WHO? jesus. in all honesty i think most of the population wouldn't give a rat's ass if it was repealed, and the part of the population that would are the ones who wanted it repealed in the first place.

I remember there was a pretty in-depth discussion as to whether or not Lupin was gay, between PoA and GoF books, on TLC. I never really felt that he was gay, as it was that he was in the closet. In his case, lycantropy was the alternate lifestyle he would rather not have exposed to the world.

Regarding the gay nephew question - my older brother's friend told me one time that he realizes in retrospect that he experienced his first gay crush when he was about 5 or 6 years old - he thought that Robert Conrad looked hot in his tight pants, while watching "Wild Wild West".
