Veronica Mars upcoming episode spoilers.
mata090680 made some pretty icons using a few caps from my Pretty Things spams, so check them out. I'm seriously eying the Kate one with the flowers. I adore that shot.
Final two on
dom_lims, yay!
dekolette posted CHRIS LOWELL BOYKISSING IN HIRES. That noise you heard was MY HEAD EXPLODING.
So, guess what I finally saw this randomly rainy, cool Sunday afternoon? The Godfather
It seems almost reduntant to review The Godfather, because what is there to say that hasn't already been said? It's shot beautifully, perfectly paced, one of the best films of all time, all the acting is astonishing, the music is incredible, etc. All of which I agree with, but I wouldn't say it's flawless - there's not a single decent role for a woman. Diane Keaton gets the only thing approaching a real female character to play and even she gets brushed aside. Other than that I've got nothing to say that hasn't already been said - the movie is just unbelievably good.

Then tonight, because it was on after So You Think You Can Dance, I watched The Bourne Supremacy
I think the best way to describe this movie is blistering. Those car chases are serious edge-of-your-seat scenes (although really, does he have to hit EVERY OTHER CAR?!), the green-tinged palette is sharp and unsettling, and the plot moves along really well. I like how this one ties into the first without going overboard, and still works as a standalone movie. I don't get why Julia Stiles just disappeared, though. MICHELLE MONAGHAN was in it too, yay! I love here. It was nice to see Karl Urban in it too, he looked good. Definitely a cracking movie.

From my favourite Dom event, the LA Two Towers premiere.

If you found me the one in my icon in HQ I'd love you forever. Not that I don't already, but this is pretty much my favourite picture. It's the background on my new phone :D

We're going to the movies in Tuesday, but I don't know what we should see. I'll be going with two not overly savvy people, so most of the harder thinkie stuff is out. I'm thinking Stranger Than Fiction might be our best bet.

Stranger Than Fiction sounds like a good compromise. I know I want to see it. :(
