Today I went to see a movie with [livejournal.com profile] melissajane14 and my cousin David, and beforehand we went for hot chocolate, bought three kinds of cake and shared them. It was pretty much the most exciting thing that happened to me all day, it was so great. I actually had a really good weekend, in spite of the fact that I've been stressed out of my mind lately.

The last Chris spams won't be up until tomorrow cuz I'm tired. I love having everybody around on the weekends, but I swear I get less done here at the weekends because it's just a zoo. This weekend we never had less than 3 people staying who don't actually live here. Most weekends it's usually 2 or 3 extras, and at one point this weekend we had 7 extra people. This is every weekend. It's like a party house :D

Track listing for OotP soundtrack (clearly out of order, but interesting nonetheless.)

In the continuing Helospam (part 4 of which is up now, by the way) and Piz Spam traditions, [livejournal.com profile] ack_attack has made a spoilery Anders spam. He's pretty.

For fans of both BSG and Supernatural, actors who've appeared on both. There's a lot.

There's some lovely pics of Jensen after a performance of A Few Good Men here. Also, the Paddywhack fact icons cracked me up, particularly since I use the 'visible from space' one.

There is a ridiculously adorable set of Heroes cast pics here.

[livejournal.com profile] mata090680 posted new Sean Astin pictures and boy, Isabella got huge fast. Look how big Ali is, too! Best t-shirt ever, btw.

For me: Rogue's Gallery.

There's a little Top 30 Under 30 poll on the Portrait website that the Veronica Mars & Supernatural casts are on, which is cool if not entirely accurate, so go play.

TVGal's Amy Awards, with AWESOME categories. Go play there too :)

Today I saw Zodiac

This was a really well-crafted, well-executed movie. It was sort of a labyrinth of facts, and it was presented in such a matter-of-fact way. Jake's pretty ass eyes acting talents are definitely on display in this, especially as he gets gradually goes from the clean-cut slightly weird boy-scout to the more scruffy and sexy obsessed and crazed as the movie goes on, but I thought Mark Ruffalo and Robert Downey Jr. all but ran away with the movie. RDJ in particular is all out as a camp crime reporter (with GREAT costumes and hair) who just slides into ruin, and Mark Ruffalo was amazing as the cop investigating the crimes. His relationship with Anthony Edwards' character was lovely. The movie is well written and gorgeously shot. It really makes you think, and doesn't give you an easy out. It's not really about the crimes, though they are shown in rather graphic detail, it's about the men who are sucked into the investigation of the crimes. Gorgeous, thoughtful film.

Then tonight I saw Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby

It was fun. I spent less time laughing at this one than I have others in the genre, but it was pretty enjoyable, and there's boykissing at the end which pretty much wins.

I object to being lumped into the zoo with the rest of them! :P

At least I make constructive contributions to the household (cleaning, cooking, driving teenagers around, grocery shopping etc). In fact I think I do more around your house than your little sister (Once upon a time I remember liking her, but that was when I spent less time at your place - can't we send her to teenagers camp for the next year and a half?)

...I take offense to Sean's shirt, particularly since I've idolized him since I was 8 years old. Boo, Sean. Though, he does look tremendously younger since he's lost the bulk of his Sam weight. And his hair looks good. Still. Boo.
