So I need to save all my money to go to this con in October, which sucks with DVD season coming up but it's the way it's going to have to be. I guess I'll just try to see all the extra features on YouTube or uploaded on LJ and wait to hear the commentaries. Glad I got my CE Serenity DVD before I found out. Fortunately it'll (hopefully) all be for a REALLY GOOD and VERY EXCITING cause.

Lost casting news.

Uh, I don't know how I missed this when it was first circulated, but artsy new Heroes trailer.

Bringing the hottie factor tonight: Chris's new Private Practice promo shots, Masi & Hayden in FHM magazine, and some orgasm-inducing Jensen pics. By the way in the first Private Practice shot it is SO BLATANTLY OBVIOUS that the girl who replaced Merrin has been really poorly pastede on yay.

Bringing the WTF factor (I still find it strange), Nathan Fillion on Desperate Housewives. Why does he keep playing gynecologists? Nevermind.

Tonight I saw The Holiday

I saw it with my family, I voted for Pennies From Heaven but was outvoted. I don't like romantic comedies. I don't like chick flicks in general. This wasn't a terrible one. It was formulaic, but Kate Winslet is something of a goddess and there were some genuinely sweet and funny moments. I predicted nearly every twist. I didn't know JKras was in it, and the Dustin Hoffman cameo was the best part of the movie. I don't mind Jack Black and I think he was great in King Kong but I don't know what they were thinking casting him in this role.
