WTF, Supernatural fandom. Who the hell cares, all she did was get drunk a few days before she's going to be legal anyway and then stupidly lie. She's young. Get over it.
ETA: Forgot to mention, today was a little better than yesterday, if still low-key. I had lunch in the city with Anthony and Jamie, both of whom bought me lovely presents (the Buffy: The Long Way Home full comic and a big folder to keep all my signed stuff and celeb photos in) and hung out with me for a while. It was nifty :)
I love Chris Lowell. Just a heads-up. MAD CRAZY LOVE.
More Joss blogging, which is always fun. This time he loves on the fans.
Cast list for Half-Blood Prince. Hero? Poor kid. I really hope David Yates's excellent directing will be enough to counter more terrible scripting by Steve fucking Kloves, Ron-hater extraordinaire.
YAY TRUCCO!
And yeah, okay, most of this post won't make sense to people not already in the know.
Tonight I watched Dog Day Afternoon
I can see how enormously influential this movie is, which affected my viewing of it a lot and makes it hard to judge on its own merits. Al Pacino was really good, and a lot of the issues in it were handled interestingly. Fantastic camerawork (I can see the influence of that in my favourite episode of Supernatural, which was interesting) and the creation of mood was really good. I felt like it kind of dragged in some places, though.

I'm really behind, I have 18 more movies to see and a month and a half to do it :S

WHO DOES THAT?
A 12 year old, that's who.
Jiminy Kripke, it's a TV show, fer God's sake. I am so out of this fandom right now. I could care less what these people do offscreen. They could make out with llamas and eat fried cats for all I care. ENTERTAIN ME.
Oh, and I saw a dead ringer for Ianto last night at Chili's. God, I got caught staring at him more than once.

THAT'S AWESOME. There was a comedian I saw on TV a few nights ago who reminded me of Ianto. Mmm, Ianto.

He was THAT MUCH like Ianto.
Yeah, I really wish the general population of the fandom was a bit...smarter. I mean, HELLO, capslock=sarcasm.

I also squeed when I realized that Bruno Delbonnel will be the director of photography, as I loved what he did for Amelie.
And Dog Day Afternoon is fantastic!

Goodness, I completely forgot about how many movies I have to watch before the end of the year. I have SO MUCH left. Maybe...forty? Ack.
Btw, don't know if you're interested in and/or want to pimp Burton's new film, the adaptation of Sondheim's musical "Sweeney Todd", but sound clips from a preview turned up on a board I post at and then were put on YouTube. My Friends, Epiphany, and Johanna.
Really now... is there anything Depp can't do?
