The rally went really well! We had a good turn-out, over 100 people, and news cameras and everything. I held a banner. It was fun. Afterwards I hung out with, over the course of the afternoon and evening, 6 gay boys and one straight girl. Had dinner, missed out on two repeat viewings of movies, didn't really do much else, but it was fun.

I will never, ever forgive Lost for killing Charlie. Ever. NO FORGIVENESS FOR YOU, DAMON AND CARLTON. Now that that’s partly off my chest, I suppose I should get to the episode.

I like the title of this episode, doubly clever for the fact that we know the end date of the show.

Calling Locke crazy was stupid and dismissive of Jack. Not that's he's not kinda crazy, but that's not really a motive for something like that, and it's not something he's done before. It's sad that Hurley's happiest institutionalised. 'Episode' doesn't make it sound any better. Woah, what a voice. Lying man!

Is Sawyer being sensitive? Have they Spiked him? He's being weirdly sweet. Hurley stumbled across Jacob's place!! How oddly convenient, considering nobody EVER stumbled across it BEFORE last season.

LOL, go Kate. I can't believe I like her so much more than Jack. Found her! I figured the island had cured Naomi. Guess not?

Reunion time. Very muted reunion. Is it just me or is Foxy thinner? An ANGSTY BEARD-WIG, Jack? Tell, eh? Great seein' ya for less than five minutes. That's a different tune...maybe Hurley was the one who died in the future. That's a deeply depressing thought.

I was going to watch another episode of TV, maybe look for the fandom news of the day, but I am so tired I can barely hold my head up. Goodnight.

Any polling information about how much public support civil unions have in Australia? Predictions on how parliament is likely to vote?

Or am I misinterpreting this and it's a state by state thing the way it is so far in the USA?

This is an ACT-only bill we're protesting for. The government is trying to get through a bill for a 'relationship registration', where couples would register but no ceremony would be acknowledged. The civil unions bill has the ceremonial aspect that we were really fighting for. Apparently 57% of Australians support gay marriage, and the number is higher in support of civil unions (and higher in Canberra) but I can't remember the exact statistics. I was holding the banner.

Also, I'm glad you're still watching the show. I mean, it's LOST. The dead do come back in different ways, so hopefully we'll see Charlie again.

and I think the same could be said for the house. Hurley found it, closed his eyes and wished it away.

And it was Christian Sheppard inside! He's aliiiiiiive (or maybe not) - frankly its all a bit of a mindfark. Have you seen the last mobisode with Christian and Vincent the dog....
