I'm so tired. This weekend was fun. Yesterday, I picked Mitchell up and he's playing Age of Conan in the study because he couldn't play it at his place and he was devastated. When I got home, I discovered North by Northwest was on TV, so I watched it all the way through for the first time ever. Then last night, Tom and Melissa came over for dinner and we watched Disturbia. I went to Melissa's the night before. It's been fun :) Now I am posting the entire weekend's worth of links instead of continuing to clean my room.
The kid who played Marcus Belby in Half-Blood Prince, which only just wrapped, was tragically killed trying to help his brother in a fight. How awful is that? I was upset when I saw that.
For happier things, the Spanish trailer for 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button' and gay married man on Spanish 'Idol'. CUTE.
Info on Private Practice DVDs - I hope the fun stuff goes up online so I don't have to buy it, because I can't afford to indulge my Chris Lowell obsession in that way.
This, however, I may have to buy. Y HALLO THAR CHRIS LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWELL! GUH x INFINITY.
Also,
txvoodoo discovered a 1996 commercial starring baby!Dom! AWESOME.
Whedonesque links: description of Nathan's pilot, Joss talks about the lack of ad breaks in Dollhouse, Danny Strong interview.
garfeimao has started posting the Guillermo & PJ chat.
North by Northwest
I'm grading this on a Hitchcock curve - it's not my favourite of his films, nor is it by any means my least favourite. I enjoyed the dialogue and sexual tension between Cary Grant and Eva Marie Saint, but I was somewhat disappointed by the famous crop duster scene and overall I thought the movie felt a bit...stale. Like I'd seen it before in other Hitchcock movies, but they had a cooler idea to sustain them, which I didn't get from this one so much.
3.5 out of 5

& that's the way it is (huh)
