Today was spent almost entirely puppy-sitting. I did very little else all day, except download shitloads of

bleedskint's bases and make a new Dom banner with a bunch of her gorgeous bases and wait anxiously for March.
Going to Lea's tomorrow to play Boggle with her and T&N. Wearesuchnerds omg.

I saw Mulholland Drive today. I went through the list of TransACT Video On Demand movies, which are basically all fairly stupid entertainment-only movies, and searched the whole damn list for something critically acclaimed and cranial and experimental (preferably foreign, but there weren't any of those.) Finally I found Mulholland Drive, and I wasn't disappointed. It was weird and I don't think I really got it, but it was *good*. David Lynch is a very disturbed genius. It has that typical blend of totally wooden and totally convincing acting that's typical of his films, and I love the techniques and stuff used. It's so suspenseful. Exactly what I wanted--artistic, critically acclaimed fun. I am *such* a film geek it's not funny.
