Dom is hosting this Argentinian game show, or a few of them, and we all seem a bit fuzzy on the details.

Am I really the only person who feels kind of dirty about the Harry Potter theme park?
The Five Worst Modern Twist Endings. 'No Country For Old Men' is just...why is that even up for consideration? There IS no twist. It's just kind of hard and real. That's part of the appeal, right? Did I miss something?

Been marathon watching Gilmore Girls season 2. I want to be Lorelai. Still.
That 'hey, get to know me!' meme.
You know how sometimes people on your friend's list post about stuff going on in their life, and all of a sudden you think "Wait a minute? Since when are they working THERE? Since when are they dating HIM/HER? since when???" And then you wonder how you could have missed all that seemingly pretty standard information, but somehow you feel too ashamed to ask for clarification because it seems like info you *should* already know? It happens to all of us sometimes.

2. Age: 24
3. Location: Canberra
4. Occupation: Child care worker.
5. Partner?: Chocolate. Fandom. Dominic Monaghan. Several gay boys for whom I am the hag. In other words, desperate and dateless.
6. Kids: None, but would like some someday.
7. Brothers/Sisters: Just one, Clare, who is currently being infuriating and awful and, yes, a teenager, but somehow worse.
8. Pets: Saffy the King Charles cav-cross-Bichon Frise. I know, it sounds very posh for a wimpy little thing who hides under the table when boys come over, but she's mostly a good dog. The house pretty much revolves around her. I usually have fish, but the fish tank lid broke and the fish died and I really have to clean that thing out.
9. List the 3-5 biggest things going on in your life:
1.) I've recently decided that I'm going to do a Diploma of Education next year to become a teacher. This is like a 360-degree turnaround from what I thought my life would be, but sort of the way it's been heading without my noticing. I just sort of...took notice.
2.) I really need another part-time job to take me to the end of the year.
3.) Family dramas have been rife for the past couple of years - my parents split up last year, and my sister's been unbearable this year. They're part of the reason I'm in a kind of holding pattern in my life.
10. Parents?: Augh, they're just being difficult right now. Not my mother, mostly, she's discovered girl power in her fifties and is incredibly buff and does, like, international standard dragon boating and is dating again and is hot. She is also, however, part of a pyramis scheme that I really don't like. My father is trying to get back into some sort of relationship with myself and my sister after cheating on my mother and being kicked out, but he seems to have not noticed that the way he does everything drives us up the wall, so he's still trying to tell me how to live my life and fighting me on everything and generally making me feel useless. I think I'm close to the point where I have to take care of them, at least emotionally.
11. Who are some of your closest friends?tuatha_de (Tom), melissajane14 (Melissa), baldie_troll (Squishy/Jamie) and Mitchell are pretty much my posse. My gang. My loyal cohorts, or some such. I mostly just hang out with those guys (and significant others where it applies), and go to their events and such. Occasionally there are interlopers or I branch out, and I have some decent fandom and online friends, but in terms of people I'm close to both physically and emotionally, that more or less covers my nearest and dearest.
