No Dr. Horrible streaming outside the U.S. I hate all of you and your happy squee posts.

ETA: And I'm annoyed that, at Whedonesque, people are complaining about 'U.S.-bashing' and saying that we're a bunch of whiners. Particularly this:
There are ways around the US only thing, people. If you really wanted to see it, you could do a little googling and figure it out. Complaining is easy.

It is brilliant, BTW.

Oh, hey, you know what else could be easy? Letting us see it in the first place and not treating the rest of the world like second-class citizens.

I live in the US and I agree with you.

First, anyone who has tried to get country-locked material to play knows it isn't easy and most often the tricks don't work and after you've gone to hours of trying.

In any case, it's easy, when you privileged, to minimize the difficulties of others. And disgusting to do so when those difficulties are so easily avoided.

Joss knows this is a product specifically designed for the Internet. There is no excuse for pretending the Internet is a US only outlet.

Now I'm reading that it was supposed to stream internationally, but Hulu -- which only streams US usually -- had trouble getting international streaming to work. It was an error and it's now fixed.

That in no way lessens the rudeness of US Whedonesque board members.

I'm sorry to hear about this. :( I'm lucky Canada has access to the iTunes ep, too, but there's always a lot of US-only web content I can never access. :(

Yeah, I figured that was the case, but whether it's a mistake or intentional the result was the same for all the excited overseas fans who tuned in and were disappointed. I'm not angry at anyone who made it or Hulu for the mistake, but surely we're entitled to express that disappointment in fan communities without getting attacked for it.

I'm in Canada and we can see it now here. Maybe it's been changed?
