Actors who could play relatives, which I'm mostly linking because a) so true and b) sibilant 's'! That's what I do. And notice in everybody else who does it, because I have a total oral fixation and look at people's mouths when they talk (which is why I'm annoyed that Gary Oldman can't figure out Bruce Wayne is Batman.)

*sadface* The Middleman is only getting 12 episode for its debut season - not cancelled yet - because people aren't watching. WATCH, PEOPLE! It's fun and goofy and I love it.
Whedon plans 'Dollhouse' webisodes.
Just a couple of Dr. Horrible links today, as things wind down: iF gushes, and nice icons.
Today I chucked a sickie (I am actually sick, though) and went to the movies with Clare to see Kung Fu Panda
This movie cracked me up. I laughed so hard that my voice was too hoarse to speak afterwards. It's got the usual twee message about believing in yourself, but it does it WITH KUNG FU! The bad guy is fierce awesome, the movie looks beautiful, and most importantly it's really funny (even if the majority of Po's power seems to come from the fact that he actually can't get hurt, no matter what you do to him.) This is a great kids' movie: it's fun, snappy, and the character has a real journey to go on. A lot of the laughs come from good old cartoon violence, with Po getting knocked out, blown up and bounced around and keeping on going, but they still manage to get real menace out of the baddie until the last reel. Unfortunately, the 'Furious Five' are a bit one-dimensional, which makes their fight scenes less interesting, but that's my only real problem with this movie.
