My favourite icon maker made icons!

Gary Oldman > you. And Sean Penn. Mostly Sean Penn, though.

Jane Espenson interview. She's so darn cute.

Ianto Jones & Jack Harkness (I bet you thought I'd forgotten about the alphabet meme, right?)

Oh, Ianto Jones. Ianto is the cute, snarky, well-dressed, bisexual Welshman who has stolen my heart. Also, apparently, the heart of a time-traveling pansexual hottie from the future. I can't fully explain the appeal of Jack/Ianto, except perhaps for the fact that, let's face it, a) there's not much else out there in terms of gay sci-fi couples and b) they're hot. They have chemistry, those boys. I generally actually find Jack somewhat boring when he's not cracking jokes filled with innuendo or sexing/making out with/cuddling everyone around him, but Ianto seems to balance him out nicely, and Jack gives Ianto something to look forward to. Did I mention the snark? And the sexy! I've sort of done season 1 to death, so here, have season 2 spam. Caps courtesy of [livejournal.com profile] cowboyhd (they're the light ones) and The Institute, with the exception of one.

The fact that these images exist proves that there is good in the world.

"Are you asking me out on a date?" And then the end. "Is that a yes?" "Yes, yes..." LOVE IT.

This cap is by [livejournal.com profile] marishna and it is wonderful.

I am kind of obsessed with the fact that Ianto uses napkins as bibs. Have you ever seen anything more precious?

Badass!Ianto

Leaning!Ianto

This whole section kind of broke me.

By the way, this is by far the best cap of this kiss that I've seen.

Jack's innovative. Bordering on avant garde.

Saucy minx.

He reeeally loves his tea.

I love that Martha kisses Jack just because everybody else has done it.

WEDDING FAIRY!IANTO.

The jacket thing is a favourite of mine.

OI WITH THE DANCING.

Mmm, wet Ianto in a trenchcoat.

Guh, the look on his face.

Action!Ianto

HI, HOTTEST FIVE SECONDS OF SCREEN TIME EVER.

Naked hide and seek: Jack cheats. He always cheats.

Oh god Fragments, where Ianto shows up looking like a Welsh rock star

and brings Jack tea!

With the rolling and the panting in each other's faces and the start of the suits.

Awww.

I loved the picspam! I have both seasons of Torchwood, but have only managed to watch up to Countrycide so far due to lack of time (luckily since my holidays will begin in a week I'll be able to finish it soon) so I'm looking forward to seeing how things will evolve from the "I'll just stand there and watch you die" threat in Cyberwoman to the adorableness they'll eventually become.

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

Mmmm, Ianto is so badass in Countrycide. I noticed how pretty he was in that only upon later viewings and screencaps, though.

And Cyberwoman may have had the threat, but it also had the 'mouth to mouth' that was basically just Jack kissing Ianto.

It made me happy too, sometimes you need a between-seasons reminder of how awesome your favourite characters are. And Ianto is one of my very most favourites.

Matt Keeslar did the !!!! face best. Through a series of events, I ended up watching that episode, like, 4 times and I laughed so hard every single time.

Oooooooooooooooo Ianto.

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

He did, I love how he got right into it every time, although the ditz doing the !!!! cracked me up too. It just...looks sillier on her, because The Middleman is always doing silly things with that straight face of his.

I'm just at the edges of Ianto/Jack love being that I am just in the middle of the first season but I think I can feel the sizzle already.

Yes, I have and thats my first hint ( besides what I have read on the net) that there is a Ianto/jack connection. I mean I could not miss that invitation with the stopwatch there. But how did it get to that point is what I want to know!

Cuz not long previous to that one was the CyberWoman episode with Ianto going all nuts for his robotic Lisa. Jack kissed him then but it just looked more like a kiss of life than anything.

omg, I didn't even notice Owen and Tosh in the background of that dancing scene until now. lovely picspam.

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

Neither did I, until you pointed them out! My attention was...elsewhere. I like that they just look mildly interested.

You have made me so happy with this. Jack & Ianto! Cutest Torchwood couple ever, easily, and the best thing about s2.

From: [identity profile] green-queen.livejournal.com

I actually think that the best thing about season 2 is the blowfish in the sportscar, followed closely by Jack & Ianto. And Ianto's suits.

From: [identity profile] zombres.livejournal.com

Haha, you make a very good point. And all men should have to wear such sharp, lovely suits.

Loooooooooooove the caps.

However, FYI. It's always coffee and almost NEVER tea. ;)
