I have a cold, and I swear, every time I forget just how sucky colds are. They're so irritating. Also, I have a Twitter, and Joshua on SYTYCD is the cutest thing ever. I'm behind you guys, so don't spoil me. Oh, and also, there's a guy in the new Australian Idol ads (the 'Can You Feel It' ones) that looks exactly like Joe Anderson (Max) in Across the Universe.

Dom's brother Matthew's MySpace, which at the very least confirms that it is indeed Matt in the Paris photos.

Same-sex marriage legalised in Norway, hooray!

If you're going to Dragon*Con, you can be one of the lucky people who get to see Gareth David-Lloyd and that Spike guy do a concert together!! Just...rob a bank first.
*sobs* I WANT TO GO.

Tahmoh interview.

MY LITTLE DR. HORRIBLE PONIES FTW.

Empire's list of the 50 greatest comic book characters.

Protests over Tropic Thunder. Now, I'm not disabled so maybe I can't comment, but it seemed to me that Ben Stiller was satirising the way Hollywood portrays people with disabilities (in the trailer, I haven't seen the movie.) Is this a case of sarcasm that's gone over people's heads?

This LOLcat appeals to my sense of humour.

There's a few icons in this batch that I think are inspired and a few that I think are overdone.

YAY NORWAY!
The LOLcat does not make me laugh...because I make a lot of mistakes :(
I only know like 17 out of the 50 comic book characters. FAIL :(

Thanks!

The reason the LOLcat makes me laugh is because (the way I see it) the essay/whatever was perfectly well-written but the cat wants to change it to LOLcat language. Which is funny to me.

I know a few more, but not from reading comic books, just from hearing about things. I am sad that Gert from Runaways wasn't in there, I love her.

The Tropic Thunder thing is a tough call - I can see where Ben Stiller was intending to draw our attention to the way that actors choose their roles when they're hoping to win an Oscar (odds are especially good for retarded people and prostitutes for some reason) and Ben isn't the first one to point this out in film. I think the protesters were mostly upset with the egregious use of the term "retard" (repeated 17 times in the film), which is as offensive in their community as "nigger" or "faggot" would be in other communities.

I understand that, I hate the word too, but I thought it was being used to point out that Hollywood just has no idea.

Yeah, I am reserving judgement until I see the movie and can feel out the context a bit more clearly.

I always thought it was Matt in those Paris pics too. I looked at the Myspace thing...do you have to be a member? I ask that since it seems the guy has so little on his page so maybe I'm not seeing anything because I am not a myspace person.
