I want to wish a ridiculously happy birthday to two of my favourite flisties, fayte and corellianjedi! Hope you have/had/are having an awesome day.

I have clothes! Brand spanking new clothes! I went clothes shopping this morning and for $150 I got: 3 tops, a black skirt, a pair of reddish sandals, a fanceh bra, a pair of pyjama pants, and a stubbed toe. Pretty spiffy, except for the toe. I bent my toenail back and it bled everywhere, and now it stings whenever I walk. It was in a shoe store, I rounded a corner and walked right into a low stool that I couldn't see. Then I limped around work, which was utter chaos because the weather was windy and intermittently rainy, so we had to take the kids undercover and they all went nuts, AND our boss was away so there was a lot of sharing around of admin-type jobs and keeping track of children. I was happy to come home.

Uh, I have nothing fandom-related to report today. Go check out The Ack Attack. Rachel's always got something fandom-related to say and it's very close to always insightful, funny or otherwise entertaining.

It's the new factory outlet in Canberra, and there's a bunch of sales on because it just opened, so every single top my sister and I bought all day was $10. The skirt was $40, the shoes were $29, the bra was $45 (most expensive thing I bought, bras are always ridiculous) and the pyjama pants were $10. So I actually spent...$154. Still, good price for that haul!

They are so pretty! The clothes, not my toes. Especially the skirt and one of the tops. I wish the weather would warm up again so I could wear them.
