The problem with LJ: we all think we are so close, but really, we know nothing about each other. So I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away. Then post this in your LJ and find out what people don't know about you!

Sarcasm doesn't travel well over the internet. Is this a rhetorical question?

Okay, real question - When you were 10, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Well, that's a relief.

I wanted to be an author until I was 10, and a TV writer until I was about 19, at which point I didn't know what I wanted to be. Those who can't do, teach, right?

You know, I always wondered, how often does a regular Aussie actually gets to see a kangaroo or a Koala bear in wildlife?

Kangaroos: incredibly regularly, usually as roadkill, although I often see them out by the side of the road fairly close to where I live, or up on the hill. I also see them pretty much every time I go up to Sydney, by the highway. And there's that one I killed with my car.

Koalas: are not bears, and you pretty much only see them in zoos. They don't live around here so much.

OH, I didn't think that kangaroos would be so common... that's nice (not the roadkill part though).
