I have spent the last month or so planning my meeting with Dom.
I've gotten as far as "Hello, I'm Katie, nice to meet you" before my brain blows a fuse and fantasy-me either jumps his bones, melts into a puddle on the floor or ends up any one of a number of ranting, unintelligible and highly embarassing babbles. I've read questions other fans have asked him and accounts of their meetings with him, but the questions all seem silly and I can't picture myself in any of those situations.
To be honest, all I really want is a nice normal conversation about food and movies and his favourite football team. Well, okay, to be completely honest all I really want is to shag him senseless all weekend, but the conversation ranks way up there on the list. How do I do that in the short time I get to talk to him though?
Today I had cramps all day, so I just slunked around the house and watched Chance. I love the movie, it's really fun, quirky and excellent. Amber Benson really is extraordinarily talented, as well as being quite the hottie. The roles she and James Marsters play are completely different from the Buffy roles, but they're both very good. James plays a character in almost total opposition to Spike (and more like somebody I may eventually date, I hope--only about a hundred times hotter.) If possible, this film just made me want him a whole lot more. I don't want to summarise it because the summaries I've read just don't capture the film at all. David Fury and Andy Hallett both make appearances, as does Nick Brendon's wife. I highly reccomend it :)
I almost forgot to comment on one of the best parts--the music in it is awesome, and there's even a song in there written by Joss. Listen to the lyrics, they're very funny.
Tomorrow I was to go to a waterpark with Clare for her birthday 'party', but obviously I can't now. I feel really awful about it, but it's not like I can go hey, menstrual cycle, just take a couple of days longer this month okay? So T&N are coming over tomorrow to visit Saffy & watch Chance with me, which I'm looking forward to. Haven't seen them in *ages*. THen Sunday night I'm going to Nina's NEW HOUSE (omg so exciting) for dinner. Yay!
I'm looking for a pic of Dom, from the Empire issue with pics of all the cast with the One Ring. He's lying on the ground, the ring's on a chain hanging from one finger and he's reaching for it with his other hand. He's got stubble, "Tu" written on the reaching hand, and the thin leather arm bands. Can anyone help me out, please?

I have no idea what I'll say to Dom. I conduct long, babbly conversations with shop owenrs/customers/strangers sometimes... but this babbly nature isn't going to help at ALL. Am fucked for the meeting of Dom. I'll probably say "meep" and run away.
