maubast's journal, and it made me laugh as much as it horrified me...basically, the concept that 'if homosexuality isn't about sex, call it something else.'
Uh. Heterosexuality, anyone?
There's some LOL-worthy wank going on in the MCR world, with an old publisher of Gerard's claiming false advertising and plagiarism with absolutely no proof. At all. Bitter much?
Also, Gerard Way is giving a lecture in New York on Thursday, not really a sentence I thought I'd ever say. Guess what I'm doing Thursday? HAIRSRPAY SING-ALONG!!!!
LMAO DanRad boykissing! Not...exactly hot. The host of an awards show just randomly starts kissing him for ages. Funny, though.

Today I was ditched for Jumper, so I went by myself to see Definitely Maybe
It was pretty cool having the whole theatre to myself, I must say. I left my phone on!! I could make as much noise as I wanted while eating my movie snacks! Good stuff, people.
The movie was actually surprisingly sweet. It wasn't trying too hard to be a romantic 'comedy' so much as a straight-up romantic movie, and the narrative structure was effective. Ryan Reynolds has excellent taste in women, those girls were all beautiful. It wasn't the greatest movie ever, but it was a lot better than I thought it would be when I first saw the trailers - it was the positive reviews of friends that convinced me to watch it, and I wasn't disappointed. I genuinely wanted to know what was going to happen. Ryan Reynolds made a charming leading man, sympathetic in spite of bad choices which a lot of actors can't pull off, and Abigail Breslin wasn't tooth-achingly sweet. Nice balance. Good use of the period and soundtrack, too.
