I've started watching Mad Men. Will elaborate on how I feel once I've seen more than three episodes, but Christina Hendricks is a goddess among mortals. Maybe I need a YoSaffBridge icon...

DanRad's year-end wrap up is kinda awesome.

Lost's Time Traveling To Flash Further This Year. AWESOME. I love time travel.

BSG: Ten Moments Worth Talking About (And Five Where You Can Save Your Breath). No Helo except in the least favourites, which makes me unspeakably sad. Also, if BSG ever makes Helo fall from grace, I will be very angry, because he is grace on this show, and nobody else comes close.

[livejournal.com profile] fabfunk's 50 most anticipated movies of 2008: one, two, three, four, five. Aside from 'Milk', which isn't out here yet, I think 'Where the Wild Things Are' and 'Star Trek' currently top my list. Of course, I hadn't heard of a bunch of these.

TV.com's Top 100 of everything from 2008 has Pushing Daisies, Lost and Dr. Horrible in the top ten. Woot!

Dollhouse leads a list of 2009's new TV shows to watch.

Cute icons.

This is my confession

geez, I feel like they totally missed what the character of Helo means. Patted on the back? errrr when exactly? he always had (and has) to deal with being seen as a Cylon lover and all...

also I LOVE time travel too. Must be because I watched BTTF too many times as a kid haha

everyone should stop teasing us with the lists of most anticipated things in 2009... GIMME NOW!!!

Mad Men is on my to-watch list.

I know, it's not like his life as the only person with a fully functioning conscience in the fleet is exactly easy on the poor bastard.

I'm totally blaming my love of time travel on Back to the Future, too, although I've enjoyed many other time travel stories in my time. I'm spoiled now, though, I like it to be done well or not at all.

It's good. The characters are really, really fascinating.

Christina, GAH. How gorgeous can one woman be?!? I am a complete lesbian for her, oh yes.

Oh, and HELO. Totally my favourite character in the whole series, the definition of honor, justice, and the shitless way of life.

I KNOW. She's just...sultry.

I like other characters too, and I like complexity and all, but that doesn't mean there's no space for someone like Helo.

The more I see and read about Daniel, the more impressed I am by him. Here's my favorite of his favorites:

Best Moment of 2008: "Being here when Obama got [voted] in. I thought, 'Wow, I feel so privileged to be in the country at this moment.' Then I turned [the TV] over to FOX News and watched them all cry."

It's a shame that FOX News will be doing much more than crying for the next four years. They'll be doing everything they can to demean, belittle, befoul, and obstruct President Obama and his administration. However, just like in 2006 and 2008, their pitiful attempts will fail miserably.

I can't believe FOX news exists. That is the absolute nadir of journalistic integrity.

That's why some people call them Fox Noise or Faux News or Fixed News. And those are the nice ones!! :-)
