I can't stop. Why can't I stop? Augh, I hate that I have such an addictive personality. It's a good thing I mostly just get addicted to TV and chocolate. It's just...the characters are awesome and it's nice to see people on TV working together who like each other. Uh, for those wondering, The West Wing is what this late-night rambling is brought to you by.

I'm pretty sure that some time in the past Rob Lowe had an affair with Zac Efron's mother and the result was Chris Lowell. I'm just saying.

ETA: Dexter married his sister?!

You can't stop because this show* is awesome personified.

*seasons 1-4

You can watch 5-7, just know that the writer/exec. producers left after 4 ended and it wasn't the same show ever again. It was okay, but not great. THe new writers, in my opinion, didn't really know the characters.

[livejournal.com profile] melissajane14 feels that it lost its way in season 5 and picked up in season 6 a bit. I kind of like the bits I've seen of the end, with Kristin Chenoweth and Jimmy Smits and Alan Alda and...all those other people I like. But I know there's a plot line in season 7 she particularly hates.

Didn't Aaron Sorkin have some addiction problems or something?

Oh yeah, Sorkin loved his 'shrooms. He was on those at least part, if not most, of the time he was writing seasons 1-4. But he and Tommy Schlamme left over "creative differences" with NBC (most notably the fact that Sorkin never turned in a script on time and there were some delays as a result).

Haha! Oh, The West Wing. The characters on that show are legendary. I had such a crush on Sam Seaborn.

It's funny when you say 'Dexter married his sister.' Misleading. LOL

I have a huge crush on Josh. You'd think I'd like Sam, since Rob looks SO MUCH LIKE CHRIS LOWELL IT'S SCARY, but...it's Rob Lowe. It feels weird.

Michael C. Hall married that girl who plays his sister on Dexter was long and not as catchy. Also, I don't remember her name.

ETA: Dexter married his sister?!

What? I had no idea they were even dating. I don't like her. LOL!

"I'm pretty sure that some time in the past Rob Lowe had an affair with Zac Efron's mother and the result was Chris Lowell"

I would agree with that... *nods and stares at your icon*

If the Zac Efron bit isn't real, I swear on all that's holy that Rob Lowe is secretly Chris's father. There are things Rob does on West Wing that remind me SO MUCH of Chris.

ETA: Dexter married his sister?!

Whoa.

I saw Ralph Fiennes and Francesca Annis falling all over each other in Hamlet on Broadway. They're great actors but they didn't hide it well. They let it effect their performances.

These two? I did not see that in their performances or anywhere in the press they did. I'm impressed.

It seems to be that in movies and TV shows, the people who end up together never have much chemistry. Which is kind of weird, come to think of it.
